Clean private swimming pool. Very peaceful place sounded by nature and wild animals. The view and sound of the river was exceptional. The house in general is beautiful. The staff was very welcoming and friendly.

The facilities are excellent, the main house as well as the bedroom are spacious. The kitchen is very well equipped. Gorgeous setting with wonderful poolside space. Fantastic atmosphere.

The gate motor was not working, we had to manually open and close the gate at night The hot water in the bath was muddy

Difficult sleep arrangement for small child families

When we arrived we were not informed about the information file which contained vital info about what to do in case of emergency and other helpful info. For example which rout to take when the river floods. Thankfully we were informed about this by the cleaning lady who happened to come earlier that day. We discovered the file on our third day. There was a big storm on the night of our second to last day which left us without power. Unfortunately there were no emergency lights available and no emergency source of water (pump operated). We bought candles and collected rain and pool water during our last day at the lodge. But would recommend these vital sources be made available to all guests in the future.

The surroundings were so beautiful. The sound of the river below and the birds was so calming. The fireflies along the river put on a spectacular show each night. We especially loved the giraffe and the spectacular views within the reserve. Showering under the stars was really special. One of the hilights was being able to enjoy the outdoors without any mosquitos bothering us. The kitchen had everything we needed. The lodge staff kept our camp neat. The pool was lovely to cool down in on hot days. It was lovely having Simunye village 10km down the road to get essentials from.

Nothing, it was perfect for us!

A hidden gem in Swaziland. We loved the bungalow with private pool and firepit at the river in the middle of this reserve. Like a little piece of paradise. So many animals will visit you during your stay, and I personally loved the fireflies above the river in the early evening, so beautiful. Do not tell anyone so we keep it a bit of a secret!!

I did not like that I was not able to see what I had reserved when booking. There were no images available for my choice. In the general pictures, we see different type of house possibilities but I was not able to see what I had booked. I wrote to the establishment to get information on the place but did not get an answer. And even if the place was great, for the trip I had (with kids), it was not what I needed/expected.

There was nothing we didn't like.

We loved our room. The best part was the outdoor shower. We did the trail run and took a warm shower surrounded by nature. There are wooden walls to protect you from peeping Toms, but you can see the trees and wildlife over the walls. It felt amazing. Also, we ended up getting a flat tire and everyone was very helpful! There wasn't roadside assistance, but a friendly staff brought tools and helped us change the flat to the spare tire as much as they could. Ted at the front desk also recommended a maintenance shop called Macks Maintenance Services nearby to patch our tire. We were very thankful!
