Honestly, it's so cheap you can't complain about anything. The staff is great, the breakfast is free and of very decent quantity and quality. Your bed won't be the most comfortable or the showers won't be the largest, but it's great and dirt cheap. They even throw in a towel

Considering that we arrived at 2 a.m., we arranged transportation from the airport with the accommodation. Although the transport was confirmed, no one was waiting for us at the airport.

Guy at reception when I arrive told me the room was booked from another person paying more than me, he asked me to pay more than my booking reservation in order to keep it...when we arrived tired at 7pm after visiting the city we didn't have warm or cold water at all,no even for toilet, it took 3 hours to solve it. They don't speak a single word in English, using Google translator in each sentence

This hostel was right for the money, the new beds were more comfortable and the location is quite far but if you take a bus from there it won't be too difficult, it will take you to the center in just 3 somans. The receptionist lady is very friendly. Overall It was good and cooperative.

There were some hiccups on the day of the booking. According to them, the one I reserved was fully booked. So if I want to go, then there's additional cost involved.... which is ???? But I was given a room, but no aircon / or fan and at first it was okay but I couldn't sleep because it's so hot. Then again, staff, Rahmatullo helped me out again to just sleep in Still, recommended ~

Staff was great! Helpful in every way :) The room was spacious and there's free breakfast.

The hostel goes by a different name. The guy managing the reception was not helpful and did not provide information such as kitchen use and location until I asked for hot water. What was worse, the same guy tried to open the room door at about 9pm (occupied by a female solo traveller) when I did not hear/respond to his door knocks, yet he blatantly denied it! But I told him it was his action of pulling the door handle that made me realized someone was at the door! And the purpose of contacting me at 9pm on last night of stay was to say he had charged me less! Also there is no washbasin and u have to use the tap next to shower which was hard to get to due to location of the WC.

Location near to bus station for bus to border and there is direct minivan from bus terminal where they drop you off coming from Khojang. There are english TV channels which was unexpected.

The woman was the rudest staff member I have ever met, woke everyone up at 7.30 am, bathroom disgustingly unclean without a sink, they lie about the availability of breakfast, your food is not safe

Nothing. I feel sorry for the young man who works there having to deal with the faults of the hostel but the woman is a terrible representative. Do not book!!

Bathroom was filthy, room was dirty, owner was unacceptable. I had booked the whole room with private bathroom 2 months ago. When i arrived, there was another person in my room. At first, they told me they had lost my reservation. Then, that there were 4 beds in the room and that I should pay more for the whole room. When I showed them my reservation they told that it was booking mistake that I had this price for the whole room. First night they brought 2 persons in the room, second night they brought another one, so the room was full, although I had booked it for myself. The owner just ignored me and told me to go to another hostel!! I contacted with help center of booking, they replied that she told them everything was fine and I had no problem with the room. Lier, rude, arrogant.

We rented a private room with a shared bathroom. The private room was directly beside reception, and it was noisy all the time. People were always talking, playing music etc, and during the night you could hear the very loud doorbell. The mattresses were extremely hard and not comfortable at all. The shared bathroom was actually inside a dorm room, so shared with many more people than we expected. And the sink was not in the bathroom, you had to walk somewhere else for it. The internet didn’t work very well. We normally book based on price but in this case we decided to find another place to stay that cost a bit more, because this place was not comfortable

Not really anything to dislike. ....it's a basic hostel .

The owner and the lady who does all the work and makes breakfast are really lovely. The boss speaks ok English. She is very helpful. This place is right near the bus station. It's a hostel and forfills the criteria.Breakfast was nice.. certainly value for what you pay.

The bathroom was very badly designed so that the floor was always wet. More than one bathroom was needed for the number of people there. The 4 bed room was basically a corridor to the bathroom. The doorbell was loud late into the night and the staff were making noise outside the room early in the morning. The location is not good even though it seems central. My room didn't have air con, just a fan. The beds are lower than in most hostels, so I kept hitting my head on the top bunk. The beds are uncomfy to sit in and there's very little communal seating.

The hostel was kept clean and the staff were friendly.

Inaccurate listing. We chose this place because it was the cheapest twin room option with air conditioning (listing says USD$15). Upon arrival, we were told by the reception staff AC was not working for the room we booked and was pushed to take another room that costs USD$19. It’s a huge difference for us when we were budget-traveling. After a long and tiring journey from Uzbekistan, we just accepted the counter offer. Over the next 4 days of our stay we observed the reception staff had been sleeping in the same room we’d originally booked for and that he’d advised us against taking up… we are totally fine with the staff resting up in a room that’s not fully functioning for guests but it is unethical to keep it available on the listings, only for us to have to upgrade upon arrival. We could have stayed elsewhere for that price. We were planning to travel to Wakhan Valley and was enquiring the staff on where we could go to find shared taxis to Khorog. Staff just simply told us he didn’t know, and said he would get back to us after checking with his boss — never came back to us.
