Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesWith so many people, later options at meal time seem heavily picked over. The property could use a little refresher ( new paint, etc)
Perfect spot for an all-inclusive (extra charge) getaway on some pristine beach front property in Hammamet. We loved our time here. We’re traveling the world for 1.5 years and this was the perfect stop to recharge, get some sun and leave all of the worrying to the staff. The staff was beyond kind and helpful. They even went out of their way to help my partner plan a surprise birthday for me. Easy walk to the medina of Hammamet and away from all of the tout’s trying to trick you into buying cheap souveniers. Great spreads for breakfast, snacks and dinners (opt in for full or half boards). A few bars on site as well as numerous options to keep you busy ( pools, pool tables, bocci court, mini golf, etc) Just be warned..there are kids everywhere!

TunisiaThe beds and pillows could've been more cozy, and our balcony overlooked a small building instead of a scenic view. If you bring food to your room, be cautious of ants; although it's not the hotel's fault, it's manageable. Considering we booked these rooms, it's not a major issue to complain about.
The service was excellent, with welcoming staff always ready to assist and answer questions. The hotel's stunning sea view enhanced our experience, and the variety of delicious food was delightful. The check-in and check-out process was seamless, even accommodating our early arrival by allowing us to enjoy lunch and explore the hotel before receiving our room keys promptly at 3 pm. Despite slightly dated rooms, they were spacious and impeccably clean, which didn't take away from our overall enjoyment of the calm and pleasant stay. We would definitely return. It’s a good value of our money.

SpainThe dining room for dinner was so noisy and kids running all over. I would have appreciated just going out to a restaurant for a meal. The breakfast was ok though. The bar was also overrun by families. It was not even possible to get a small bottle of red wine.
This was my first experience with staying in a resort style hotel. I found it very noisy in the dining room and bar with kids running around all over. I appreciated having a quiet room though and a view of the sea.

United KingdomThin walls so neighbouring rooms flushing their toilets woke me a few times each night (though the flushes were super powerful so maybe difficult to dampen the sound…!) Hotel charges more for transfers (and I assume any other journeys) than others. Instead, when I used a taxi driver for a small local journey I asked him about longer journeys. He arranged my first trip with a proper tourism company (and could be haggled down) and my driver was amazing. I then contacted the driver directly for further trips.
Staff were LOVELY! Always so friendly and helpful, couldn’t do enough to help. As a lone traveller it was extra nice to see the friendly faces when I arrived back each evening or ate alone. Pools were great. Beach area excellent. You can walk 20 mins along the beach to reach the old medina and fort.

LatviaDon't leave food on the balcony if you dont want ants in it. The shampoo botles some were full some were half empty. The wifi is good but is not reaching the far left beach side. The booking.com is offering only all meals included not all incuded (not sure why). I dont drink it's not a problem for me, but for some, it might be (you can pay extra at the hotel.) Not sure why they only give options to get coffe and tea only at breakfast time in the dinning area. We did not receive any information about the activities at the hotel, just randomly one day someone approached us with an offer to play tennis. Apparently, there is a A4 paper placed on the board with the daily activities, if you dont check it then you dont have a clue as our checking in desk guy did not inform us about them. With both stays, we were there almost a full week, and we did not see the late night activities as we had no clue about them happening, If you dont go to the bar to drink. SPA area was not easy to loacte as it is called bio azur and when we went to check it, both of the spa desk ladies ran into their office and did not come out. We just went roaming around by ourselves, and the lovellly cleaning lady guided us to the gym area ( it had lack of air, so we did not work out there.) The free inside pool was great, only go before the areobics, as the seniours or the kids doing the activitty peed in the pool and the area is very warm so the smell went everywhere. Trust only the girls as they will actually help you, as the desk guys only tried to sell tours, give wrong information about buss times as we were left waiting for extra 2hours at the stop and plays good cop/bad coop with the door men to offer better prices on some services. Do not trust anyone outside the hotel, the "my friend" and "i am your chef from your hotel, " and " be aware there are bad people but i am good, trust me buy from me" people are everywhere, they just try to sell you...
On the second stay, we liked the beach sides. Outside pools looked great, but the weather was too cold to use them. The staff were cleaning the floors and outside area daily. The food on all 3 meals was great, had plenty of choices, and tried almost everything. My favorite was the strawberry/white chocolate cheesecake that was served for 2 days, it was amazing! At dinner time for the first hour the desert chef comes out and plays with the children while moms can take the desserts for them unbothered. At our 2 times of stay, it was not crowded anywhere, we were able to find seats at any time everywhere. I loved that there were books left on the halways from the rooms for guests to take for reading ( mostly in german and french languages left by guests.) You can take out cash at the hotel front side. Has parking in the area.

United KingdomIt was slightly intimidating/overwhelming when on the first day we were approached by someone promoting a tourism activity outside the hotel. It made me feel less relaxed and nervous that my entire holiday was going to be this sort of interaction. We did agree to do the activity and it was fine. There were no more encounters like this and the remainder of the week was relaxing. During Ramadan there was not much to do outside of the hotel. Understandably. Hotel buffet was the only option in town and though it was fine, it got old after a few days but I still managed to eat excessive amounts of food every meal....
Relaxing setting. Very pleasant weather and many good places to hang out around the resort, in and out of the sun. The outdoor furniture was really nice quality and it was easy to get a nice spot, though this was in March so I can't comment on peak season. There was an engaging team promoting activities happening in the resort. There were activities during the day and during the evening. Room was a good size and had a nice outlook. Was well serviced. The breakfast buffet pancake station was great! Staff service was generally good. Internet was good, even outside by the pool. Cocktails were good value.... Interpret that as "cocktails were strong (free pour), maybe not the best tasting".... We weren't able to charge anything to our room though so needed to get local currency out for the bar. There was a cash point just outside the resort.

United KingdomStuff doesn't care much and they couldn't help us much either and we ask for simple questions as where we can buy charger for phone or where is the closest shop. Food was good, but it was very bland and everything lasted same. Drinks are substitute with cheap coke or lemonade, etc and it just doesn't taste good. There was only one reception lady that was able to help with our requests. Area is in need of a lots of maintenance, tiles breaking off the swimming pool, sun beds dirty, umbrellas not working, etc.
Our room was spacious and clean, meals were ok, good selections

United KingdomFirst, look like 3stars hotel not 4. Could be cleaning better beach sand. Shampoon bottles in our room was not full. Strange smell when you come in(from toilet side). No simple slippers. I didnt like a cocktails in the bar. Pina Colada in a big milk glass, just juice and shot of alcohol.. Actually nothing to do or see outside the hotel. Some mini markets ir restaurants. Be carefull for scams. In you are young and no children, book another hotel, closer to Medina😉
If you going to Hammamet and wanna all in hotel is ok, even half board good option. We had free breakfast(lots of vegetables, ham, cheeses, sausages, fruits, bread, coffees, juices, sweet bakery..) really enjoy fresh made omelette and hot pancakes - delicious! 👌Big thank you for Cheffs, they working really hard every day!⭐️ Our room was ok, with sea view, balcony. Super king size bed. Quiet. Have a bathrobes in the bathroom. Hotel outside area full of cats, very nice, people love them. Swimpools are cold for winter season, but you can go to spa(hot pools and jacuzzi) cost 60dinars for person. Lots of space for chilling in the sun, on the beach. Beer in hotel 8dinars, cocktail 18.. Live music on the weekends. Staff can speak arabic, french, english languages. Dont forget to give a tips for cleaners, bar staff, cheffs!🥳

HungaryLarge accommodation complex: as we arrived late in the evening and had an early start, we could only use the accommodation and breakfast. Both were faultless and perfectly up to expectations. In the morning, in the garden, the bulbul sang. The room was large, with a balcony overlooking the sea. Large bathroom with towels. There was heating in the accommodation. We paid by card.

GermanyRoom for improvement: - Crowded & understaffed (715 people during breakfast on 11th of Feb). Dining is a mess, if you come late for breakfast, you need to clean your own tables after previous quests, look frantically for cutlery, all area looks really messy. - Swimming pool is occupied by kids (LOTS of kids everywhere) between 8:45 am until 8:00 pm, meaning you have less than hour in the morning and in the evening to enjoy swimming - food is blunt, there is big variety, but maybe I just do not find Tunisian food really great
For me this is like 2,5/3 star hotel in Europe, definitely needs renovations. Good things: -View & access to the sea - Spacious rooms - Swimming pools - Gym (need to pay 50 dinar extra) - service was okey, some people super nice like cleaning lady (we talk Arabic) - a lot of locals as turists
