The most minor suggestion - it didn't really impact my stay much - would just be to have a bigger towel provided in the bathroom (I mistook it for a floor towel). Perhaps for those leaving before breakfast, offering a packed breakfast might be a good option.

So clean, beautifully decorated and with the most friendly owner. There is a lot of attention to detail in the room in terms of provision of water, tea, kettle, layout of the room, lighting choices, decoration, etc. It was like a beautiful sanctuary! The owner was also very flexible with early arrival and departure times. I would very happily stay here again and will recommend to my friends!

Breakfast every morning was a mini feast! Esma was also really helpful with suggestions of things to do locally, contacts of vendors and places to go.

Mattress too short (okay for one person, since you can sleep diagonal, but for two persons too short - feet will hang over), no bar, TV didn't work...

Very nice and cozy suite, large bed with a hard mattress, nice bathtub (which I unfortunately couldn't use because of my late arrival), nice furnishing, nice building, cute little balcony, very friendly and helpful host (I was arriving at 1 am and Esma managed to get me a goodnight beer - and next morning she took me to the bank to get cash), cozy terrace - where I had my tasteful breakfast!

- beautifully decorated house; hot, strong shower; good internet; superclean - Esma's personal, friendly, allcompassing SERVICE (from airport transfers to tours, to dinner, to HUGE breakfast (plus, she picks the fruit she serves in her own garden :)), to advice (neighbourhood, restaurants, things to do, etc, etc); Esma also speaks very good English - the b&b is in walkable distance to the Carthage ruins; there is a very nice bakery just accross the street

We announced our arrival time via Booking messaging, but the owner hadn't checked or seen it and gave us some guff about not giving her enough warning. We sorted it out soon enough though.

This is a bed and breakfast - you are in someone's home (which wasn't immediately apparent on Booking). The owner's son laid out the decent breakfast and was very nice. Room is a relatively new renovation with good bathroom. Easy street parking right in front of the home.

I had not understood that the the owner required full payment in cash on check-in. She demanded this when I arrived and it required three trips to various cash machines with a 10 TND charge for each transaction. The demand felt unnecessary and untrusting and I felt uneasy from the start. Also, the owner made a big deal about her breakfasts which were okay but nothing to write home about. She texted every day to ask when/what I wanted for breakfast. It felt intrusive, controlling and unnecessary. She would also be waiting by the door when I got home in the evening - again felt very controlling. Also, the accommodation was not easy to access - you had to take a cab to get anywhere.

The room was great - it was clean and spacious - and the bed was very comfortable.

The stay is not bad. The TV was not working properly. There should have been a washing machine. Mme Esma is exceptional and very warm. The place was clean but the rate was a bit too high.
