Beautiful restoration of a historical property. Large rooms. Amazing, dedicated, and friendly staff. Excellent breakfast. One member of our group had his flight canceled, and the staff helped him reroute himself to get home to Vancouver for a special event.

In the time of booking, I’m the room description, it said: “The suite comes with a living room and a separate bedroom” but in reality, it was just one room. They should fix this wrong description because it is misleading.

The hotel was absolutely beautiful. It is located in the heart of the city center and it is very convenient. The room was spacious and clean, it had a view of the inner courtyard. The breakfast was also rich and voluminous. I highly recommend this place!

Everything!! The location, the green room, the little message on the bed, tasty breakfast, helpful stuff, no tv in the room, fine soap in the bathroom, ... and little kitten making us smile and play with all through breakfast 😊 We stayed in 10 different places during our trip all over Tunis and Dar Lekbira is far the best!

Absolutely beautiful hotel, with a great location tucked away in the heart of the medina. As many others have said, the breakfast was amazing. The staff were really helpful - they arranged a day trip for us, provided us with a sim card, and as we visited during Ramadan, they put on an Iftar meal one evening with traditional poetry reading and music.

Set in the medina this accommodation is ideal for anyone who wants to explore the old city of Sousse. The staff are helpful and the rooms spacious and comfortable. The excellent, not used that word lightly, really excellent breakfast sets you up for the day.

I booked this hotel because of really nice reviews, but was also a bit skeptical - how can something be so good? Silly me - reviews are more than accurate! This place is incredibly pretty, good location in the centre of medina, room was clean and bed was comfortable. Roof top - best location to watch sunrise over the sea! Breakfast - homemade with love and really delicious!! But most importantly - staff! The people who welcomed us, were the sweetest! As we traveled during Ramadan, one of the ladies offered to call around and find us late dinner (that became one of the highlights of our trip), they helped with all our questions and made us feel like home!

In one of the rooms it was cold, the air con didn't work properly. And another minus was that the hot water was not enough for two people to have a proper shower as the quantity of water in the heater was limited.

The staff was very helpful and friendly, breakfast exceptional, the rooms were spacious and clean, great central location in the Medina. I wholeheartedly recommend it.

Breakfast the best! Delicious pancakes with berries, orange juice, eggs..😊 I was so happy to eat in this amazing building every morning! A wonderful hotel in the old medina of Sousse. We left the car near the Grand Mosquée. Despite the central location, it was very quiet. We loved the blue walls and the excellent breakfast.

We loved everything

This place was the highlight of our trip!!! Super welcoming people, we felt at home. Perfect location inside the medina and easily accessible. Beautiful house, spacious room, gorgeous decoration and attention to details. So many small treats from soaps, tea, water jar, etc. Cleaning service is perfect, they cleaned and organized the room everyday. Breakfast is phenomenal, not as buffet, brought on table with a large variety of things, every day a more delicious surprise. Rooftop is amazing, beautiful scenery where you can see the city and the sea. The city's position is perfect to explore many attractions such as Kairouan, Mehdia, Monastir, El Jem. To reach the two train stations you need 5 Min walking. For the louages station you can get a cab in the main street, and in 5min and 2,5 dinars you get there. It's a bit more expensive than other options, but you definitely get an outstanding value from it, I'd say totally worth it, the place is an attraction itself. Thanks dears, we'll be back!

The hotel is beautiful, the staff are friendly and helpful and the breakfasts are incredible! Each breakfast consisted of about 4 or 5 different dishes. It is, without doubt, the best breakfast I have ever had in a hotel. We also ate at the hotel on the 1st night (arranged in advance) and the food was delicious and good value. The hotel arranged a taxi for us from the airport which was good as the driver showed us the way to the hotel through the medina. Once you know the way it was easy to find, but I think we might have struggled to find it the first time otherwise. I would definitely stay again if ever in Sousse. Thanks to the staff for being so good as well!
