Entertainment is really boring, repetitive. Only 2 or 3 non-alcoholic drinks Same repetitive buffet food all week which was very bland and boring. No ice cream Rooms are mediocre and basic. No safes in rooms - These are in the lobby, but the lobby is miles away from the actual rooms

The territory of the hotel is absolutely huge and includes 3 main buildings - it means that each building has its own reception. They offer a lot of things to do as - big tennis( has to be booked every time)- 2 courts, table tennis(rackets are in a super bad condition though, but still possible to play), archery- this it seems to be specific time just with animation group, kids room with animation group also, volleyball on the beach - specific time , kinda yoga or dancing -animation group … evening programs. Also they offer a spa and massage ( has to be booked in advance - massage specifically I didn’t like - because it wasn’t real massage , just distributing oil over the body for 50 min ;) ) , also they provide the trips with guides / private trips … Summarising- it’s like a small city - they have everything inside and entertainment was totally amazing . Food - was good 👌the only problem was the water - it smelled ( the one which is from the cooler ), always drink just water from bottles

I would say that the WiFi isn't great but I'd rather not have it at all... I'm on holiday!

Always a pleasure to visit the Marhaba Royal Salem. A very warm welcome by Slim on Reception, our room was great with a beautiful sea view. Food was lovely, always plenty on offer. Client liason, Houssem is fantastic and a real asset to the hotel team, and Animation are second to none. All the staff work SO hard.

We especially loved the welcome from the staff. We had previously had a bad experience at different hotel and the staff (Mme Rym at reception) were really sympathetic and made our stay extra special! We loved the tennis courts and the grounds and the food! Ramsey the chef de salle was amazing… as was Mlle Rym and M Slim at the reception (sorry for errors with the names)… We did not have such a friendly and helpful service at our following hotel and I have to say that it makes all the difference ! We hope to come back with our children next time.

I took that hotel cause of swimming pool and beach. And it don't work after 17h. Okay, I understand that it's ramadan and everything is closed. But how to explain, that bar and restaurant works, meat and alcohol is for sale, but swimming pool, gym and entrance to sea is closed? WTF? It dosen't make any sence.

The food is very bad. The animation team is weak and they only care about what they see for money.DO NOT call a taxi to the hotel. Turn away from the road. The taxi driver called by the reception will ask you for a high fee. Maybe there will be more activity in the summer months.The rooms are very old..no slippers. Be prepared.

Only the location was good..The beach is beautiful..

My experience a Restaurantwas not enjoyable due to the uncleanliness of the restaurant and the rude behavior of the staff. The restaurant was visibly dirty, with tables and chairs that were not cleaned properly. There were crumbs and spills left on the tables, and the floor was sticky. I was also disappointed to learn that the steam bath was not working. I had been looking forward to using it after swim.

Property is not close to either Sousse itself or the port of Kantaoui. I found the check-in was quite rushed. The rooms definitely need a little TLC. I went out for a while and when I came back, the room was very stuffy and stale. I went down to reception to let them know that the A/C needed to be looked at, only to be told they close the A/C in the rooms from November 1st-it clearly stated on my confirmation A/C. I had to sleep with the balcony door open and with no breeze it left me with an uncomfortable nights sleep. I then went to eat, as I had all inclusive and the food was mostly luke warm and ineatable. For the drinks, you either have to get them on your own or be prepared to handout plenty of tips to get service. This was noticeable from the table beside me with several people and each paid a tip every time they needed service. It was not the stay I had hoped for.

I was looking forward to my stay here based on the information on the booking.com website. The room was large, wifi worked well and I had a decent seaview. For the rest see below. I had booked for two nights and the property agreed to cancel the second night booked (FOC).

We arrived from Tunis at 20.00 and the security man at the entrance was really rude, he spoke to us unprofessional and instead of feeling good that we arrived we felt unger and on pressure. The first thing you expect when you arrive in a hotel is s welcome and not a bad attitude.

The hospitality of the staff and the services depend on your nationality. If you are national citizen, you will be ignored. I was informed that they will make decisions to garantie this will not happen in the future.

- Clean and more less spatious room, - Great and wide range of food and drinks - Great facilities, many pools, restaurant on the beach, Tunisian restaurant, ... - The administration listen to the customers and act when they complain.

The room size was perfect and the beds were excellent. The food was good. We are vegetarians but the options were more than sufficient for us. The staff including the restaurant managers were very helpful and took care to show the vegetarian food that were available every time we went to restaurant. Staff in general are very helpful and cheerful. The beach is very good and clean. There are ample sun beds both near the numerous pools and also the beach. Taxis are easily available right outside the gates, but those might charge higher/flat rate and hence suggest you cross the main road to take passing taxis which put the meter, to go to the medina, louvage station. Taxis are very reasonably priced. El Jem is a great day trip from here. You could go to Monastir in the afternoon. Bus, louvage or taxis could be used. We went to Kairouan as well.

The elevator didn’t work The Hotel had seen better days. No maintenance of the facility. A bit dirty.

The lift was broken for a few days. WiFi signal was poor in some locations within the hotel. Salty water in the pool. smokers should not be able to smoke near the pool
