How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The room was really hot and the Aircon wasn't working so we had to open the balconies, which with 2 young kids didn't feel particularly safe to do
Great pre-arrival, very helpful with the airport transport. They also gave us 2 interconnecting rooms instead of a suite because they had some Aircon problems

This is the main flaw of the hotel. The breakfast was an absolute minimum and the choice was not good at all. The coffee was 2nd to 3rd rate and unfortunately during our stay the coffee machine was not working. The restaurant menu was very basic and being Ramadan Month, the chef was away which made matters worse. The light snacks were not available during the day because no chef and Ramadan.
The staff were keen to help you with anything. The manager Mr Fwzee was extremely helpful. Hotel gave an exchange rate similar to banks Use Bolt to travel - very cheap. For longer journeys just negotiate with the driver and they usually chare 40 Dinars an hour (approx. £10) which is very reasonable.

The balcony is not for sitting out. There are no views as the hotel is closely surrounded by other large buildings.
Friendly staff. Large clean room with tea, coffee, kettle and fridge. A comfortable bed. Good breakfast with plenty of choices. The meals from the restaurant were good. There is a nice busy bar a few minutes walk away. The hotel is good for business travellers, it's close to many bank offices. Tunis centre is about 25 minutes walk.

Wi-fi was not working during my stay due to some technical issues (as I was told at the reception). Breakfast was mediocre.
Good location, nice staff. Room was clean. Apprecite the staff who sent me the invoice by whatsapp ( I forgot to take it when checked out)

Rooms could have been ready, we arrived after 4pm and still had to wait to get the room. Some extra towels (possibly in a better condition) wouldn't hurt (we had 2 large bath towels and one hand/face towel only, which was rather worn out....) Some extra toiletries wouldn't hurt either, especially for a 4-star hotel (we only got soap and shower gel).
The property is quite nice, located on a small street, away from the main traffic and noise. Staff is nice and helpful. Rooms are quite large and spacious. The place has a restaurant which is quite nice if you don't feel like going out.

All the facilities worked in the room. Wifi was good and breakfast was decent. Hotel location tailored toward business travellers.

Breakfast ok could could have been better. Bathroom smelled of drains the day we arrived. By second day, it was better.

There was no shower head for hand use in the bath. Secondly, toilet was too old fashion and it was not confortable enough. Therefore, it is better to add a shower head for hand use in the bath and change the toilet (WC) with a new one.
Location was good. Breakfast was normal. The Hotel room was clean.

The choice of channels on TV. We would have appreciated more entertainment international channels or access to YouTube or streaming services.
The staff was very welcoming, amicable and helpful. The breakfast food was good and had a good range of choice
