Really enjoyed the breakfast, very filling! Also liked our room - quite spartan but very clean and it had everything we needed and also a TV. The location was perfect since it was super close to the Medina but not inside it, and this made us feel safer at night. The hotel is just off the main street, and although at night the hotel street can look a little bit dark and intimidating it is only a few steps to the entrance and we did not have any problems, plus taxis can reach the hotel entrance. Staff was also very helpful. All in all, great value for money and I would definitely stay again.

My stay coincided with Ramadan, and so the TV stations were generally transmitting religious programmes or the news. However, this should not be the case during the rest of the year.

The hotel staff was very welcoming and the room was well equipped. The ensuite shower room worked well. The breakfast was good. The hotel is centrally located but just off the main street, so it is peaceful. The room wifi worked well and provided an excellent connection.

I know breakfast usually it’s not include it with this price of hotels. But there is a difference between a simple breakfast to a bad breakfast. Old gummy bread and old cake. And for 2 days I asked for the receipt of my payment. And still I didn’t get it.

Not in hotel control but it sounded like some business was welding all night most nights, would be a problem for light sleepers. Heat never actually seemed to come on in room even after speaking with front desk staff about issue. Blankets were more than enough for warmth but chilly to step out bed.

Staff was friendly, breakfast simple but good. Location convenient to the Medina. Room was cleaned every day. Located down a street two blocks from a street with many restaurants.

On my first night, there was no water. I can’t shower, can’t brush my teeth, and can’t flush the toilet. But reception explained it is a Tunis issue. Gave me a bottle of water.

Shower curtain is a bit short and water goes out onto the floor. Having a water scraper in the room to push the water back into the shower would be good

Very nice people working here. Perfect location---just a 2 minute walk to Bab al Bahr, the main entrance to Medina. Decent breakfast of coffee, juice, breads, etc. One day, an egg on toast and the next, a small crepe---for hot dishes. You can walk about 15 minutess and get on the light rail/ TGM at Tunis Marine Station. 1.5 dinars round trip to Carthage. Get off at the Carthage Hannibal stop for the Carthage historical sites.

Bathroom water pressure was very low. Room was non smoking, but people smoke in the corridors and it travels so you have to wet towel the door bottom.

The TV is only good for local stuff. The Air Con didn't work.

The location on the border between the old town and the new is perfect. Very close to the shops and rhe sights. The staff were all very helpful except one who didn't like giving us extra coffee at breakfast. The manageress was superb. The room was quiet and spacious. We could leave our luggage and use the fridge easily.

No water or tea and coffee in room, but can easily purchase cheaply from nearby shops, no sofa, or chair with back rest despite showing photo of room before booking. No fridge in room, this had extra charges daily. Breakfast was just toast and bread and jam and butter, no eggs as run out and no-one bothered to buy or purchase day before.

The position and the the area it's in. Any one with luggage should avoid it.

The hotel and its staff (especially Wahid on reception) were great. However the hotel is a very narrow street with lots of stairs and NO lift.

The area of this hotel is not very friendly, local shops and taxi drivers, will try to rip you off when they see that you are a stranger or a tourist.

Good place for a shirt stay, friendly staff, clean room, and good location if you have to be the capital.

There was no elevator so you will have to carry your own luggages. No ref inside the room, and no working table for laptop. They did not allow us to accommodate visitors and friends inside the room which was understandable, for security purposes, but they should have been a little more considerate.

The property was ok. It is in the middle of the capitol near the madina square (near all the markets), so it is quite strategic.
