Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

Tunisia- The moment we entered our tent there was an overwhelming incense smell which made my stomach turn a bit. - There was no WiFi although on the page it says there is. - Breakfast was catastrophic with no variety not even fruits. The only thing I could eat on the first day was just the bread (because I was very sick and had an upset stomach) and everything that was served was bsissa, olive oil, halva and dates. Coffee and tea were undrinkable as well. - There was no one at the reception the all time we were there. - And the final observation is very overpriced for what it actually offers.
We liked the concept, decoration and how comfortable the beds were.

PortugalBeautiful spot and the staff were the nicest. A special appreciation for the chef personnel, Mouhamed. Also, tours to the desert are available to be booked with the property and it went very smoothly. Definitely a great choice! The restaurant is amazing as well.

MexicoThere is nothing I would change from our stay. To me it was perfect.
Tente Elbey was, by far, the greatest, most pleasant surprise of our two-weeks Tunisia trip. The concept is fantastic: luxury in the desert. The rooms are fully air-conditioned and lavishly decorated khaimas (tents), which respect local building techniques and display local materials. Breakfast, which is included in the price, is served on hand-made trays and dishware and is a feast for both the eyes and the palate. We also had dinner at the Elbey restaurant; it was a wonderful experience that would merit a review in itself. We were lucky enough to be met by the owner, who treated us to coffee (the best I had in Tunisia) and a spontaneous night-ride to the dunes (¡Un millón de gracias!) Whatever else you do in Tunisia, if you have the chance to spend a night at Tente Elbey, do it. You will cherish the memory forever.
