I loved how clean it was. The staff were very professional and quite helpful. It is very convenient having an on-site restaurant. Maybe they can have a little convenience store as well. But overall I exceeded my expectations!!!

The water pressure in the shower could have been better. There was no hot water. The water was not even warm; it was tepid. The toilet did not flush properly.

Bathroom access for the disabled was not available. everywhere in the hotel was accessible except for bathroom. but even then, the concierge went out of his way to help us set up something so that my mother could use the shower.

Hotel Policies about not accepting payment online, staff attitude towards clients, refusal to flex nor assist foreign guests visiting the premises.

Staff were rude and unprofessional to guests visiting the country. Would not recommend this facility to stay nor do business with.

Honestly there is not one thing that I can complain about.

Everything was neat and tidy and exceptionally clean. The staff was always courteous and went beyond adequate to superb. Sherry is incredible and that's not to say that others were not because in reality everyone I interacted with in my lengthy stay were employees I would love to hire and/or work alongside. Service oriented!

Clean hotel. Water, tea and coffee included in the room. Proximity to the airport. Included shuttle. Friendly German from reception took us himself next morning to the airport. Didn’t get to try the restaurant this time. Maybe next time! Thanks

When we arrived at the hotel the host was checking the list of bookings and could not find us since the booking was done via booking.com probably. We were told that there was a plumbing problem and they had to transfer us to another partner hotel. There we had to negotiate things like breakfast included, transfer to the airport. Terrible experience and never again!!

NOTHING ! We arrived to find that our room was still occupied by the previous guests who hadn’t checked out. No other room was available so we were taken to another hotel. There there were no facilities in the room and a single sheet on the bed. We had to ask for a blanket as the room was quite cold. We had paid for breakfast at the original hotel but here the kitchen was out of action and we were told that breakfast would be brought to us the following morning. That didn’t happen as we had to leave to catch our connecting flight to Tobago before any breakfast arrived. A complete shambles. If this is typical of the island I would NOT recommend staying overnight in Trinidad but flying to Tobago directly if possible. Additionally the exchange rate used in converting our quoted hotel price in US Dollars, to TT Dollars was hugely favourable to the hotel such that we ended up paying more than expected. Very unpleasant experience.

The safety aspect must be given a priority. The windows don't lock properly and when asked, the manager tried to give reassurance by stating that nothing has ever happened. Although thankful that nothing has ever happened in the past, I didn't want to be the first either. Rooms open with a 4 digit code which is mentioned to you while standing at your door. anyone in the next room can hear your code as well. Someone simply does not leave the comfort of their home to feel unsafe in a foreign place. The location was ideal because I needed to be close to the airport for work, but there isn't much in the area.

An excellent service minded staff. I had my reservations because of some reviews I have read about the same scrambled eggs every day for breakfast, no iron in the room, no hot water etc., etc. but all I had to do was ask. When asked what else they could offer, the options were limitless for breakfast. Scrambled eggs, saltfish, bake and fried plantain, boiled egg, sausage, Doubles, eggplant mash, what a luxury! I asked for an iron, it was brought to my room and I used it every day. Laundry service was also on point, leave it on the bed in a bag in the morning and find it washed and folded on your bed in the afternoon. Excellent wifi connection. Very clean. Supermarket, KFC and pharmacy at easy walking distance (less than 10 minutes).

Had the pleasure of staying at Grand Diamond Hotel during my visit to Trinidad. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm and welcoming atmosphere of the hotel. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, with the friendly staff providing all the necessary information about the hotel amenities and services. The lobby was beautifully decorated, creating a pleasant ambiance. Upon entering my room, I was delighted to find it clean, spacious, and well-appointed. The comfortable bed and plush pillows ensured a good night's sleep, and the soundproof windows kept any outside noise at bay. The room also had modern amenities such as a flat-screen TV, a mini-fridge, and free water and soda, which added to the convenience of my stay.The hotel's facilities were top-notch as well.The on-site restaurant offered a diverse menu with delicious meals, and the breakfast buffet was a great way to start the day.One of the highlights of my experience was the exceptional service provided by the hotel staff

I did not feel safe. The location felt sketchy for a hotel. Although modern,the bathroom lacked good lighting. The bathroom did not feel clean - I found hair on the toilet and the bath mat was not clean
