If our room had a stove, we may have cooked a bit but it didn’t create any issues because of how close the accommodation was to Ariapita Avenue with all kinds of food options.

This was the perfect place for our stay. They were so accommodating with our very early morning arrival and last minute adjustment of dates. Everyone on the property were so friendly and made our time in Trinidad that much better. We spent a lot of time by the outdoor dip pool and patio area. They have made it a really nice atmosphere.

The area around the property was not so nice. A bit noisy from the nearby highway.

The house, the location and our apartment were all fantastic. The plunge pool was out of use for the 1st part of our stay but we got to use it on our return for the 2nd part of our trip.

Very clean and safe. You can walk at night to the guest house and be safe. Lots of good local restaurants and popular bars. Very good location, quiet and peaceful at night. Hosts very welcoming and accommodating. There are a convenient store walking distance from the property and I had no problem with transportation with TTRideshare (Local Uber). I willl stay there again should I visit Port of Spain again.

Bernard and Rosie were delightful; they recommended a wonderful driver to us who took us around for a day. The location is PERFECT, really near all the eateries; it was quiet and felt very safe and secure; we had a kitchenette which was useful. Altogether a fabulous experience!

Lovely stay at the heart of PoS, unit with a kitchenette as well! Do note that it is a guesthouse, not a hotel, so no front desk or such, but thats not an issue. Bernard was kind enough to stay up late to welcome me and hand me the keys. I walked everyone in the city, and took shelter in the room with strong AC when the heat got to me!

Absolutely nothing!!

We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay here and if /when we visit Trinidad again will look no further than the Gingerbread House. The owners and staff are delightful, so accommodating and helpful. Our accommodation was perfect for us. There is a beautiful peaceful area at the back of the property where you can relax and enjoy, also a dipping pool to cool off in. There is parking at the front of the property and the location of the house is convenient for all your needs.

My room was beautiful and spacious but my only issue was the bed was incredibly hard.

Clean, close to the avenue and the owner Bernard and Rose were amazing! I could not fault their service one bit. I’m hoping that some availability comes out for next year so I can stay with them again. Thank you again Bernard and Rose for having me, they take pride in their property and loved how as soon as I arrived Bernard was excited to show me around their beautiful home. Anything I needed Rose was there to attend to my every need.

The garden has some water pumps that make noise all night, there is zero privacy if you open the window blinds so in the end you always have a dark room with the lights on instead of enjoying sunlight. A bit pricey considering what you get, and the internet was not great, i had to configure it manually to get it working on my laptop, tiny TV.

Very friendly hosts and staff, beautiful house, pleasant garden with sitting areas and a tiny pool. Nice bathroom with a great shower, good safe location with lots of restaurants and super markets at walking distance.

The Wi-Fi connection is always there but the internet is spotty. Sometimes it helps to "forget network" and connect again. If you have a light sleep, bring earplugs. But I guess that goes for anywhere in Trinidad.

Super friendly and responsive host. Easy check-in, even after hours. Super location. We could park our rental car on the gated property. Beautifully designed rooms and common areas. Everything is very clean and the rooms are properly cleaned every day (not just beds made and floor swept but cleaned). Great value.

Everything was comfortable.

Wonderful ambience. exceptionally clean modern rooms. Husband and wife were wonderful hosts. Parking available inside locked area on the property. Plunge pool to cool off in. Just off an arterial road so the access is easy but the street is quiet. My father was stationed in Trinidad for some time during the Second World War and the host was able to pinpoint the location of the American base and hospital where he served. Also gave me excellent tips on more remote areas.

Very friendly people and a little paradise in the middle of Port of Spain. The pool is amazing, the hosts are super friendly and helpful. The location is close to the main avenue where you will find bars and restaurants.
