“Very close to the bus stop to Taroko in front of the train station.
I walked to the bus stop and took the bus no 310 at 7:05, which was the 1st bus to Taroko. I had enough time to see all the beatiful and awsome places in Taroko by just getting on and off the busese no 302 and 310. I used easy card and it cost far less than one day pass which was 250 TWD.
The host was very kind and used translation app to explain about the trip to Taroko. He let me know that I must take only one of the two buses if I purchase one day pass. That is why I just used easy card.
I also enjoyed the quiet atmosphere of Susi Space and the town.”
“Great location to base yourself if you're heading up the Gorge independently (we were on bike). Big comfortable rooms, water dispensers, free packet noodles so you always have an option if you don't feel like going out, quiet spot amongst the ride paddies”
“Fantastic overnight stay.
Very trendy cool kitchen area, with communal cooking facilities.
Very large bedroom, comfy big bed and huge rainshower!
Susie and her family were so welcoming!!”
“Our stay at Taroko B&B was great. It is just outside of Taroko Gorge with a nice ocean view. Keep in mind that you cannot swim at this location, but the view is lovely. The owners were friendly and accommodating. They did our laundry for free, which was wonderful. We had a room on the 3rd floor (walkup only) with a huge deck. We enjoyed relaxing on the deck and watching the ocean. Our room was clean and large. The AC worked great. The water pressure was nice. Breakfast was delicious. We were there when the earthquate struck and the building held up well with no damage. The owners helped make a stressful situation better. If you are staying at this location it is good to have a vehicle, as there is not a lot to see or do in the town. We ended up driving to Hualien for dinner.”
