“Great location, right along the seaside. Within walking distance of some tourist areas, but not busy or noisy. Our room (3 person) had not only beds but also a sitting area for us to lounge in. The owners were wonderful; drove us to/from the airport and harbor, helped us rent scooters, shared the history/culture of the island, prepared excellent and big breakfasts, came to our door to let us know when the "blue tears" appeared in the bay. Would highly recommend this place to anyone interested in visiting the Matsu Islands.”
“The boss and lady boss (I call her auntie) were very nice and caring. They were very attentive to my needs. The boss picked me up at the airport and brought me to Nangan Fuao Port when it was time to leave. The boss made sure that I got my ticket to the ferry and only left when everything was good to go. I get to eat free red yeast rice cakes and smoothies every time, which they sell to tourist groups that stop by Jinsha Village. Auntie also accompanies me to the restaurant to talk to the owner and orders food for me. They also gave me free car service when the bus schedule took so long. Traveling solo is hard, especially with the communication gap, but it's finding people that you will keep in your heart after you leave the place is gold. I hope to come back again.”
“The family were so kind and helpful, they really made this trip memorable. The property is beautifully located in a quiet (somewhat remote) village. The room was clean and comfortable, with gorgeous shuttered windows. The motorcycle we rented from the owners was new and in very good condition, perfect for driving around the hilly island safely. The owners kindly offered free pick up and drop off service from the airport and port. We enjoyed drinking homemade coffee on the veranda in the sunshine. We had a great stay!”
“The weather was really bad when we met Matsu but fortunately they have hot water to shower and the location is good, it’s just near the harbor. The owner is nice, she introduced us some local food and picked us to the harbor.”
