We had a problem with the auto-lock of the door (it was not automatically locked as it should). The staff was unable to fix it and told us to leave the door unlocked until afternoon when they could contact the technician to solve. We had a plan which cannot change and had to leave the door unlocked :(

The room was quite small, with the bathroom even smaller located with a view to the city, so one had to make an effort when taking a shower to avoid the bathroom being flooded. Just a small cabinet to keep your things and no safety deposit box. The hotel was also difficult to find as the reception is on the 12th floor, the same building/elevator as Muzik Hotel.

Great location not far from the Ximen& Beimen MRT, as well as the Taipai main station. The Ximending market is also very close, with a lot of restaurants, bars, and shops close by. Suprisingling quiet even though located in such a busy area. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Overall, I think I received good value compared to what I paid.

Lockers outside of the dorm, cube bit short and narrow. Breakfast bit cheap but better than nothing I guess.

The showerhead mount is faulty. The bathroom needs a big bathroom storage container/cabinet(wall mounted or not) since the bathroom towel holder is not adequate(I needed to gather my change of clothes,toiletries, room card, towel everytime I take a shower). If possible, you can also add absorbent rug/mats so that after showering, the floor won't be wet.

The hotel is located in ximending and very accessible. The following ammenities considering low budget are ok: -shared refrigerator -shared bedroom -shared cr/bathroom/toilet(they have bidet) -veranda is also good -free tea and drinks -free earplugs -wifi and airconditioning

It’s hard to explain how, but every single trash bin in the hostel was so annoying to use. they should buy some new ones that are more comfortably designed.

nice with the cube beds, if you’re taller than 172cm your feet will stick out, mind you. nice private bathroom toilettes. lovely balcony, nice with free breakfast. the breakfast is just bread and different beverages, but a life hack is buying your own condiments and ingredients - it is very versatile. location is perfect, the hostels name is weird - what does it mean ?

Clean and comfortable enough. Location is excellent, a couple of minutes walk from pedestrian area but far enough to be quiet. Laundry facilities on site. Felt very safe, needed a key card to access the floors and again for the rooms. Good value for money considering accommodation prices in Taipei.

There are only two bathrooms. I guess that's normal for Taipei hostels in the area, and the bathrooms were also fairly spacious. But this means during peak hours you'd have to wait to use the bathroom if one was in use - note that the sink and toilet is in the bathroom so if you just want to brush your teeth or poop you still have to wait.

Central location, responsive staff. Very colourful shared space. If you need a fridge, there's one available here. Clean enough, though capsule was small - I suppose that's normal in this part of Taipei.

Paper towel available for a couple of dollars, would be great to have real ones for rent or included for the price.

Very good place to stay with all the comfort you need. Helpful employees. Break fast is simple, but useful: toasts and one jam spread, several warm and cold beverages. Great central location with shops and access to public transportations. Very good beds, silence is kept inside the room, free ear plugs offered at the reception good large locker for your bag. It's nice to have the balcony on top floor with the view on the district.

The place is located in the same building with other hotels. The signs of other hotels are much bigger and visible from the distance, it's not easy to spot the sign of I Play Inn TP.

The place is close to the Ximending pedestrian shopping area and within a walkable distance from Taipei station.

The location is the best. It's located in the middle of ximending, which is near the subway and shopping street. The room is quite small but it's acceptable. And all staffs are kind, i appreciate that they allow customes store the luggage even after they check-out. Nice place!👍

Small dormitory room and only two bathrooms

Great facilities with a basic breakfast provided with juice and tea available all day. Hot and drinking water available for free. Great common area that was perfect as a working space. Beautiful balcony with an amazing view of the city. Lockers provided for luggage and valuables

Could be wrong but security might be a concern. Shortly after the staff left, a man kept knocking on the hostel door, and when a guest finally opened it for him, he said he didn’t have his card. I’ve seen this before elsewhere by homeless folks looking for a shower. But you have good large lockers, and the bedroom also is an additional door. So perhaps a key card access in the elevator is the fix.

Comfy beds, all had privacy shades but I noticed about half were see thru… thankfully mine was not. I was in the dorm by the common area so there were only two toilets and the lockers were very cramped, but it was still fine. The downstairs dorms had more space for the lockers and more toilets. Not a terribly social atmosphere, but 10/10 location, I’d definitely stay again

The rooms are very small, the storage area is very narrow and doesn’t allow multiple people to get their stuff from the lockers. The bathrooms become very slippery very fast.

The common area is nice, the breakfast is simple but nice, the location is great in the middle of busling Ximending, the beds are comfortable.

The beds were a little stiff. With so many capsules in one room, in the morning a lot of alarms would go off even though it is not allowed. This is not the hotel's fault but its something to be aware of.

The location is amazing, with just a short walk to the Metro. You are able to reach anything in the city within 25min. The capsules are spacious and the bathrooms are clean and decently big. I would stay here again
