Not too important for me but if you rely on Wifi be warned that reception in the dorms is poor and you’ll need to use the common space area.

The staff is amazing, the dorm offers a lot of privacy. The owners invited me to try Taiwanese breakfast buffet and were super helpful in giving me guidance around Puli.

hosts were very friendly. covenient location, yummy food nearby, just 5 mins walk. very low price and had private sleeping space with door and lock. linens were clean. shared bathroom were clean and tidy as well

There are only two shower rooms for the backpacker dorm room.

The ladies at check-in counter was very observant that she arranged a cooler room for me (as i used to be quite hot all the time). I was planning to hike for 2N1D and she allowed me to leave my luggage for 2days. That's so helpful and convenient for me! I stayed in a backpacker room which is cosy and tidy enough. There was hangers to use and a short table for putting my stuffs. Those are well designed for backpackers.

The facilities are very good. It's very ideal to those backpackers whether group or solo just like me who seek a place to stay a night or two. Also the staffs are very accomodating and very helpful. It's my first time to go to Sun Moon lake and Tim gave me a very accurate route going to the site. I highly appreciated it.

The staff are very accommodating and very pleasant to talked with. I loved the style of backpacker rooms. It really suit those who wants to spent a whole night with enough privacy of their own. Worth recommending. Also they really show care to their guests. I'm to supposed to checkout at 4 in the morning and the staff prepared some meal for me to take. That gesture is well appreciated.

The bed had ants in it and there were cockroaches in the walls. I had to put my bags on the bed with me and sleep with the light on to try to keep them at bay — and I didn’t have any food. The room I was in (the backpacking “private” room) was basically a dorm room with a thin wooden wall that only reached 75% of the way to the ceiling between the beds — so, not private. Several neighbors came in well after 1am and made lots of noise. It all made for an extremely unrestful night, and was not at all what I had expected when I booked.

The staff were super friendly and helpful, and the lobby was very cute. The location is a 5-10 minute walk from the bus station, which is very convenient. The bathroom included amenities such as toothbrush / toothpaste kit, towels, etc.
