Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

MalaysiaGood location, worth the price. Near to mrt Shuanglian station, for those who carry big luggage can use exit 2 by escalator up n down. exit 1 only escalator up n down by staircase. Few steps away to Ningxia night market. Walk straight down the road towards the end is Dadaocheng Pier. Lots of eatery places. Self check-in machine at the lobby n collect room key from the office. All rooms located at 2nd floor, can go up by lift or staircase. Room, washroom n common area are clean n well maintained. Spin machine is free of charge.👍 Washer n dryer coins operated, powerful version.

SwedenThere is basically zero common space, for a hostel with hundreds of beds there is just a few sofas which are clearly not enough. The room setup is strange, with beds positioned in a way that make privacy impossible. The rooms are also extremely cramped, and no storage space. There is only one shower block for I don't know how many people. During our stay there was a huge school group which basically occupied all the showers all the time.
The location is pretty good, right next to the main night market. The WiFi worked well. It is fairly clean.

TaiwanThe coffee was terrible. Bed in the dormatory was very uncomfortable, super thin mattress. The hairdryers in the bathrooms are very loud and people were using these at all hours of the morning, meaning sleep was constantly interrupted. The bathrooms were out of toilet paper a couple of times during my stay. The bathroom floor and sink area was constantly wet. I'm sure the hotel rooms are a step up but my dormatory stay was pretty grim.
The noodles at breakfast were the highlight of my stay. Good location, convenient to bus stops and Ningxia night market.

Hong KongThe temperature is not easy to be adjusted to the right level. The toilet bowl is too high. The room is not sound proof.
I like the toilet so much, very bright and clean and super spacious. The beds are also comfy and soft. The breakfast is of high quality given that the cost per night is not high.
