No one was there as we arrived and the room had strangely a lot of mosquitoes. No clue where they came from because window was closed.

Friendly owner. Doesn't speak English but with translation app absolutely no problem. Breakfast vouchers of 60 TWD for a closeby breakfast restaurant offer great variety to choose from.

When you can communicate with the staff they are very nice and helpful. They don’t speak my language, I can’t speak theirs. Make an effort with a translation app or book, and you will see how nice the staff are. The hotel offers tourist bikes, they’re quite new, but suitable for minutes, not hours of cycling, and unsuitable for distance or any real cycling. Hong went out of his way to find me a better bike. Similarly other staff, with the help of multilingual guests were very pleasant to deal with.

The facilities and room are old and in need of some updating. The look of the room was not very attractive and was kind of disappointing.

The location is central to the main walking street. The beds were very firm (bordering on hard), but we prefer that to a soft bed. The shower was good, the AC and TV worked well, and there was a balcony with a nice view of the town and mountains. They provided breakfast vouchers which were enough to cover a good size meal at a local restaurant close by. The slippers, tea, toiletries, etc, were a nice touch. We also appreciated that there was an elevator, a water dispenser, and a microwave in the lobby.

Bikes were not in a good state. We didn't know we had to call to get the entry codes so it was a bit confusing at first but was quickly sorted out.

Nice rooms, microwave made available to guests, clean, comfortable and nice rooms. Elevator for easy accessibility, bikes available for guests to use. Easy to use breakfast coupons making it easy for everyone to choose what they like.

- they provide bikes for free, but some of them need to be repaired and well maintained

- it is rather an ordinary accommodation, which the location is good and facility is on average - the host appeared only when we did check-in and gave us detailed introduction, it is okay as it left travelers much privacy - the host no provide in-house breakfast, instead, they provide food coupon so you can redeem at restaurants nearby the next morning - they apply electronic door locks, you no fear of getting lost of key anymore (as long as you remember password)

A great and accessible homestay. When we arrived we called the number on the booking, and were given codes to access the main door and the doors to our rooms. Very trustworthy! May be a problem if you can't speak Chinese (mine is very limited, but it helped). The place is clean, and my room had a lovely balcony overlooking Chishang. There are a few local restos near by, and there are bikes available to use.

They do not answer to messages via booking (I think it was because they do not speak English). Upon check-in we were said they only accept cash, however I later saw a credit card terminal and it is also stated on booking that they accept cards… WiFi didn’t work on 5th floor, it seemed to be an old problem.

Staff seems okay, do not speak English. Room is decent. Breakfast is included.

my daughter found lizard In the room and we had to change to pack our bags and drive to the old building. one of the staff did his best to get rid off lizard but couldn’t and he was kind to take us to the old building and accommodate us in another room but overall experience was not so happy.
