Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

TaiwanThe location is extremely close to the Xin Beitou 新北投 MRT station, which is convenient for traveling around Taipei City. The room is immaculately clean and the hot spring water is delightful, offering the opportunity to soak in the privacy of your room. Although we didn't try breakfast, there is a 24-hour McDonald's nearby, so getting breakfast is not a problem.

The staff is very helpful and responsive. I requested to check on early, they allowed me to check in 3 hours earlier (3pm, usual time:6pm). The location is near to mrt and bus station and the thermal valley and other other attractions places. Their spa bath is using natural sulphur springs water which is good for the skin.

Hong KongThe breakfast was awful. It used to be buffet style, but I'm not sure why it has been changed to a box of breakfast. The worst part was that my husband and I got diarrhea many times, after eating those prepackaged breakfast from the hotel, and our child who didn't eat from the breakfast box was fine. We believe it was very likely related to the breakfast provided by the hotel.

SingaporeThe furnitures, carpets and bath tubs were really old, it looks like they have not changed them to 20 to 30 years. There were brown gunk on the bath tub and I was told by the housekeeping that they are the residue from the hot spring water. It looks really gross. The stay were so uncomfortable, we wanted to forfeit the money and stay at another hotel but we couldn’t get one at such short notice. It will be our last time staying at this hotel and definitely not recommend this to anyone.
Location of the property was great as it was just next to train station. There were convenience stores and eateries nearby.

SingaporeRoom smelt horrible.. smelt mouldy and musky. Read from reviews hotel will say its due to hotspring sulphurs but we stayed in other onsen resorts and never encounter such bad smell. We had to buy air freshener to spray the whole room. Onsen tub area looks dirty with mould spots as well.

1. Strategic location - 3 min walking distance from XinBeitou MRT Station, - bus stand exactly opposite hotel to many places of interest, - many convenient places to eat (the nearby KFC served very delicious egg-tart!) - Very helpful staffs at Tourist Information Centre which was located exactly at the Exit of MRT Station 2. Room was nice - loved the whirlpool bathtub with hot-spring water. 3. Breakfast was above average. 4. Very friendly receptionist that spoke reasonably good English.

Singapore1) Tiny hotel lobby, horribly slow lift. It takes ard 50seconds to get from level 1 to 3. 2) Cleanliness and hygiene were bad. Sheets smelt of someone's sweat. Floor carpet smelt of urine. Bed made had duvet touching the grimy floor. 3) Design is old fashioned, walls are very thin so u can hear all ur neighbours every word. 4) Shower water pressure was fab but hot water flow was inconsistent.
