Really enjoyed my stay! Nothing bad to report, certainly not for the price I paid.

Fantastic location right near to but a little away from the busy shopping district of Ximending. Means you can brave that crowd easily whenever you want to, but also have a quiet respite away from the bustle when necessary. I was really impressed by the facilities. The word 'hostel' gave me pause but I booked a double room in the 'hotel' section and it was lovely. Spacious, very clean, great roomy shower with excellent water pressure, and a really comfortable bed. Free bottles of water in the fridge with a mini-safe available for use too. Solid three-star accomodation that you get for cheaper. There's also a 7-11 and a couple of food stalls nearby that stay open really late so you can get authentic Taiwanese food even late at night. Would definitely stay here again!

If you get the single room that is the loft, there isn't a lot of room for putting a bag and the stairs up to the bed area are relatively steep. Watch your step at night! Nothing else to complain about.

Location is great for such an affordable price! If you only need to stay one or a few nights and don't mind sharing a very clean and well-kept bathroom, it's fine. WiFi worked in the room and common areas, rooms were relatively quiet from road noise and hallway noise.

Excellent Location , a lot of food around . It also has a laundry store, we managed to clear out all our dirty clothes on a Sunday early morning without anyone crowd . Short 10mins walk to night market .

- A kettle and some tea/coffee bags would be a + - No breakfast available but many restaurants in the surrounding - A little bit pricey for the size of the room but I guess the location is the reason

- Perfect location in a small street in Ximending area, close to MRT station/restaurants/shopping area - Small and simple individual room with AC, TV, fridge, safe and cups (water dispenser in the hallway) - Rooftop with washing machines and dryers - Reception staff speaks English

Hotels near Yai Ximen Ding It's a five minute walk to the station. The rooms are clean and the staff are helpful. You can have the staff call a taxi to take you to the airport. I will stay again if I visit Taipei.

I booked a room for 4 and we were given the room at the 6th floor which is the only room of the floor,it was quiet,comfortable for us 4 and the room was large,it even has a 2-seater sofa to chill.I am not sure about how the other rooms look like but ours was super nice.The beds were comfortable,the bathroom was clean and basic necessities included. Checking in was quick,it was easy to find and a lot of hole in the wall food stalls if you want to try authentic chinese/taiwanese foods.it even has convenience stores around every block so you won't get hungy🤗 incase you do not like to try aunties/uncles cooking☺️.

The hallways have random changes in elevations, and it can be a little surprising to drop down suddenly as they’re not noticeable with the carpets, but otherwise, nothing else bad.

Really neat place to stay! Convenient location and decent prices! The room is quite spacious compared to similar places in the area. Bathrooms are locked by keycards, and only males who booked the room can open male bathroom, and vice versa for females - very secure and safe spaces! Clean rooms, close location to Ximen MRT. Sadly I forgot to take any photos or video of the place, but it was really good!!

Staff was cold, room was smaller than in pics, no soap, in building away from main hostel. No hairdryer & no fan! Sofa was broken from one side.
