It was so to Move around the city with the free bicycles. The kitchen is well equipped. The beds were soft, the mattress was not hard mattress as I like it but this depends on everyone. The room was clean as well as the toilet. The owner was not around that much bc he had a newborn but was very helpful.

Navel Orange Hostel is a very nice place to stay over night. The hostel is really clean, same with the room and the bathroom. On the 2nd floor, there is even a common room to play board games and meet other guests. We stayed there as a small break before going to Green Island. I do recommend this place to stay with no doubt!

Communal areas on 1F and 2F with lots of places to sit, eat and talk. Everything was very clean and comfortable. Water, tea, instant coffee and snacks available for free. Bedrooms and bathrooms were nice, clean and comfortable. Bikes available for free (I think!). More a place to go with friends rather than meet new friends. Nice, large kitchen, I think you can use to cook. Could leave bags pre check-in and post check-out. Great value for money. Owner spoke some English.

The staff was nice. There was only one other person in my dorm, so it was nice & quiet. I loved the privacy curtain that wrapped around the lower bunk where I stayed. Bathrooms were small, but clean.

The hostel was clean and felt very welcoming. We had two nice and quiet nights. We could use the hostel bikes for free, which meant that we could get to the city center in only 7 minutes. Check-in and check-out went smoothly.

The upper bunks didn't have a curtain, so bring an eye mask against the light.

The free laundry was a welcome surprise! The beds are very comfy with soft linen. There are specious common areas and the free bikes are nice! There's free snacks and tea. Would definitely stay here again.

It’s located in a quiet area and it’s very close to the Taitung Art Museum. The Flowing Lake is only 10 minutes away by bike. The room and the public areas are clean. The staffs are friendly and I enjoyed chatting with them. The laundry and bikes are free to use and those had made my staying time better!

The staff were rarely ever there.

A cool little place just out of town but near the forest park. The staff were friendly and helpful and the facilities were perfect (free snacks and tea bags!). It is easy to access by bus from the train station and you can come and go with a key scanner. It is the quiet season but it was still easy ti meet interesting people in the common areas! I would certainly recommend it!

Nothing to say here, really. All good, clean and safe.

I loved how much of freedom the guests were given based on the trust of the hostel owner. Upon my check-in, I was given the key to my dorm room and the passcode to the hostel door for whenever I go in and out. I even checked out without the presence of the owner and was asked to just leave the key on the front desk, and I think that was cool - the way the owner trusted me and other guests. We were also allowed to use the bikes for free!
