Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

IndiaThe room ac has no temperature adjustment other than low, medium and high besides off and we were super chilled at the low. Checkin is strictly at 3 and they accept payment and politely request you to come back at 3 for the keycards. Bags can be kept with the concierge. We had an inside room with no view and making it necessary to keep the curtains closed at all times.
The hotel is a 5 min walk from the Taipei Main station and we managed this distance with 4 trolley bags between 3 people. Tour pick up point is Taipei Main train station. Hence, it's easy to walk down to meet the tour guide from the hotel. Besides the MRT lines (including those for Taipei 101 and the airport) there are busses that can take you around Taipei including sightseeing ones. There are enough convenience stores and eateries around the hotel for one to sustain on a budget. The room we had booked was good enough for 3 people and our luggage. It had all toiletries that we needed, a bidet and tea coffee maker. There is more granite top in the room that I have seen in some kitchens, hence it's very difficult to leave behind anything. The bathroom has super hot water as compared to some of the other hotels we stayed at on our 14 day trip.

What I liked most is the location, very close to the MRT station so travelling around Taipei is easy. The breakfast selection was also excellent, a good selection of Continental and Asian specialties. The room was just right for triple accommodation and with complete amenities, coffee and tea plus our welcome Tako chips. Staff were also very accommodating, and they go out of their way to help and assist us with our needs. AND they all can understand and speak English, a big plus.

ThailandFacilities review: Our rooms were equipped with an automatic buttock cleaner but unfortunately, it did not function properly in either of the two rooms we booked. Despite bringing this to the attention of the staff, no action was taken to rectify the situation. The odor in the hotel was unpleasant damp odor. There is a significant need for the hotel to enhance its overall scent quality.
