How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

After staying nine nights, on the last day I asked to check out an hour later and it seemed like an absurd request. it was enough to clean my room as last. the request was rejected. a stain. In the first room the bed was ok, in the last it was hard and maybe end of run.
Family atmosphere and convenient location. It's a good and cheap place for c/p. obviously the structure is a bit old but it is quite clean and quiet. I didn't see any ants, maybe two or three.

We had read some reviews about there being ants in the room, the first two days were fine but by the third day we did see some insects, but the place itself did not seem dirty. All electricity worked with a card, meaning at night you either had to decide if you wanted to keep the lights on and be able to charge your phone or shut down the whole electricity.
The staff was really nice, they always greeted you with a smile and were available 24/7 The room was quite big and spacious We wanted to extend our stay one more day and told them last minute, they were very helpful. The beach is literally 2 minutes away, and you ahd everything you needed at walking distance.

There was no bedding for the blanket.

Looks very outdated and desperate need of a refresh! Finishing of tiling/sealant/product quality should be higher. Shower head should be better.
Location of the hotel is right at the end of the street market every night so very handy. Beach is just across the road. Ubike stand across the road also. Just download the app and use these to cycle the area. Cheap way to get to some local sites. Friendly staff on reception. Room size was good. Hairdryer in the room and TV. Tourist shuttle bus stops nearly outside hotel.

We traveled in late November so the room was a bit cold in the evening. But under the blankets it's warm to sleep.
Location is good. Close you can find scooter rental and the beach. Room is spacious with all needed facilities.

the window was broken, and we had wind and cold air and noise come in all night. there were ants in the room. the lights could not turn off unless you turned off all the power so we couldnt charge our phones at night.
location was very convenient for the bus to hengchun, sail rock, kenting forest and kaoshuing. also good walking to the night market and other restaurants

The bedroom equipment is very old and rusty, but we didn't mind especially since the price of the room was very cheap. Bathroom door wasn't working properly and towels are almost made of paper cloth. Bring your own towel.
The location is perfect, by the entrance of the night market, the prices are really attractive. We had a good time staying in this hotel.

Fantastic location, I’m so happy it was close to the Kenting night market. I ate dinner there almost every night. The hotel staff spoke English very well, and communication was easy. They also had a big, friendly dog who was very sweet and cute and I loved him.

The hotel has a great location. There is a park, ocean, and restaurants nearby. At the same time, the hotel is located in a quiet place, which provides a good rest. The room we stayed in has a great view of the mountains from the window. We swam, walked in the park and on the beach, had lunch in restaurants. In the evening we enjoyed a delicious pizza.

Bed was so uncomfortable that we couldn't lay on our sides. We found cockroaches. The curtains didn't open. The bathroom had mould everywhere. The towels were disposable, and worse than using a dish cloth.

The room was nothing like the pictures. You can easily find a better and cheaper place to stay in Kenting. The room was disgustingly filthy. There was mold growing everywhere and the bedding was yellow. The side tables hadn't been cleaned and neither had the floors. The bathroom had hair everywhere and slime all along the edges of the tub and sink. The air conditioner was the only way to keep the smell away, however, there was no adjusting the temperature, so you were freezing cold. My travel partners and I were all miserable for the entirety of our stay. Basically...don't go here.
