The bed wasn’t comfortable, as it moves too much when the person beside you moves. Also curtains could block the light better. Other than that, it was perfect!

Very close to subway (exit 6), only 30m walk. Perfect located, as it is close to every sightseeing. Nice staff, good size room and bathroom. It is located in a very noisy avenue, but the isolation is good.

Could have been a slightly better variety of restaurants nearby, though a coffee shop was 5 minutes' walk for breakfast.

Great location across from Da'an Park, a short walk from the MRT station with a convenience store a couple doors down. Very comfortable room with nice window overlooking the park, and we slept well in the bed. We could do our own laundry in the machines (washer dryer) for a good price, though we had to pre-reserve since there was only one set of washer/dryers. Staff were nice and we appreciated the daily cleaning.

Great location - we could walk and run in the beautiful park across the street, many restaurants and convenience stores nearby, very close to metro stop. Can use washing machine and dryer on site for $50. Free snacks and coffee. Helpful staff. Room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. Would stay here again.

I wondered why reviews of this unassuming hotel were so high. Now I know. The location is fabulous, facing Daan Park, near Yong Kang street, Din Tai Fung, the Flower and Jade markets at the weekend. And the hotel staff are friendly and kind. The room is sparkling clean, the bed is firm, and it just has a good feeling with creative touches. I really liked it. It felt Taiwanese, not like a big chain. There’s a fridge, a kettle, a UK plug, and little drinks and water for you replenished every day. I liked it more every time we came back. And such great value for money!

We liked everything.

The room was very clean, it was very close to everywhere. There are many restaurants around. ATM machines also. There is recepsion 7/24. They have coffee machine in the lobby and they serve free snacks. The staff was very friendly.

The elevator was indeed quite small so our family had to be broken into 2 grps since we had a lot of luggage haha. But it wasnt a "dislike", more of just something to note for others.

It was really an exceptional stay! Saw this in a fellow traveler's video, and it had a great view so we decided to book here. We booked a deluxe double room and a double room with park view. Great things about the hotel: - rooms were really spacious and are modern (newly renovated, I think)!!! We had so much luggage and a kid, so space was important - it was super clean. Again, we have a kid with us so that is a priority - bathrooms were spacious too, and there was a japanese toilet - staff were really nice!! They greeted us every time we see them, and they were really helpful for questions - there's free water, coffee, soda, snacks - toiletries were complete - the bed and linen were soft and bouncy - location was great! 7-eleven was near, station is also a min walk away, the park was really nice to walk in in the morning. And raohe market is abt 15mins away by uber, or 30mins by bus. There's also a din tai fung nearby if interested. Chiang kai shek memorial is also just 2 stations away. So it's really convenient. But this is a quiet area, not many shops to shop in around the hotel. Not like Ximending or Taipei Main.

The wi-fi in the room was not very good. Also, considering the temperature, it would be good to have a heating facility in the AC, which is currently only for cooling. If the reception is renovated, it will give a more uplifting feeling to guests.

The hotel's location is perfect, overlooking the beautiful park. It is walking distance from Da'an and other shops at Xinyi. There is a MRT station next door from where we could connect to the metro for the airport. The reception and elevators are a bit run down and outdated but the rooms are excellent. They are bigger than other hotels we stayed in, in Taiwan.

Location: The hotel was beside an MRT station and was easily reached from the airport. The hotel was also in front of a large park so it was great for early morning or early evening walks and runs. Cheap food places are also nearby.
