It’s very clean and cozy, I really love the bath tab which is huge and clean. The location of the property is also nice where you could grab food from night market by walking! Property also provide afternoon tea and breakfast, I’d recommend it for family or couple vacation.

There's nothing that we didn't like except the 2 big earthquakes in Hualien (6.1 and 5.8) that woke us up in the middle of the night

We were there for a night on April 26th. Indeed, it was a short stay. There were plenty of food for the breakfast that suit everyone including children. It is strange that ice cream is also served during breakfast which we normally don't do it in Malaysia :-) The hotel is strategically located and within walking distance to the local street food, snacks and convenient store. Well recommend for family and small group tour, the only setback is the narrow street to the hotel and posted great challenges for the big vehicles.

There are 2 or 3 flat staircases when you go up to the lift. Can be cumbersome with big luggage.

The staff is friendly and breakfast is nice although not much varieties. Bed is comfortable and walking distance to many eateries. Toilet is big but a bit dark. Should have more lights. We like the body shampoo smell.

Hotel doesn’t provide cot for baby. The path leading from lobby to hotel room is long as they has 2 separate buildings.

Nice onsen in the room. Clean room. The room and the outside corridor has a nice Japanese theme. Breakfast has quite alot of variety.

It took 10 - 20 minutes for the hot water to come through the pipes. There is no boiler at the hotel - the hot water is provided by a natural spring. Which is pretty novel but when I arrived and wanted a shower it took me a moment to prepare to wait haha!

This hotel is beautiful! Excellent location. Staff provided service above expectation. Included in price is quite exceptional afternoon tea. Unlimited ice cream! I really felt the hotel make a huge effort to provide for their guests. First thing you'll notice are the beautiful aromas of the place.

breakfast spread was very limited not many options and don't expect high quality. We stayed for 3 nights of which only 1 day did the staff have the room made up despite up putting up the "please make up room" sign everyday. Small hotel but well located, not too many facilities in the hotel.

Room was very nice with a large private hot spring bath. All water in the room is heated by natural hot springs. Free dinner and breakfast was ok and nice to have if you want to stay in. Close to night market.

For certain room type, need to climb few steps before can access to the lift. There is no staircase that allowed travellers to travel between the storeys (only the lift). The lift is very small, each time could only able to accommodate 3 passengers with 3 luggages. Limited seatings and tables for breakfast, might need to take some time to get seats. Taste of food may more suits for local. (Everyone have different taste). Room is not acoustic, can hear sound from outside the room. (That is okay for us as we sleep late). Waited 15mins to get hot water for bath (Winter period) in the morning (need to wake up slightly early to warm up the water).

Having a nice hard mattress which suits me. Nice location which very near to convenience store and food. The room is spacious (Deluxe Family Room).

Only criticism is that the the lift does not reach the ground floor. Needs to carry luggage up 6 steps to reach the lift. 1st floor aircon in my room was also not working well so can get a bit warm hanging out in the downstairs space.

Free sumptious breakfast and adequate afternoon tea provided. Hotel is beautifully designed in Japanese style. I had the loft room which had 2 storeys. Spacious and lovely bedroom upstairs and gigantic bathroom with a large tub for soaking in hot spring water.

The hot spring took FOREVER to fill. There are NO windows. The bed was hard. There was a dehumidifier in the middle of the small room pumping hot air. The shower leaked and covered the floor next to the bed in water. Mold.

Access to our room had stairs which was a bit challenging with two large suitcases. However the friendly staff who saw me struggling helped me!

It was such a good experience to have hot bathtub in the room. I stayed in a studio with 2 levels, with bedroom at the upper level. All are great except the drainage design. But it doesn’t affect my stay.

The location itself is very convenient you can shop around and it’s consider happening in that area. Most importantly the hot spring, my skin feels smooth and silky after taking a bath in the spring water. Can’t forget about the bed it’s big and comfy enough for 2 people, love it.

Buffet breakfast spread had a lot of variety of traditional & international options. Coffee machine and ice cream too. The room is very clean and well designed. The onsen was very comfortable and they provided yukata to change into after. We were so happy and comfy. PS My boyfriend proposed to me here and we got engaged :)

I didn't like the Aircon system. You cannot adjust the settings at all. I also didn't like that we checked in at 4pm and had to check out by 11am. But we managed to negotiate for 11.30am. My biggest complaint is the hot tub because it is too small for two big sized bodies. It is just right for one person so we couldn't soak together. The pillows were too soft so we had neck pain after we woke up.

I like the decor of the place. I didn't get to eat the afternoon tea but I like that they give free snacks in the room. The breakfast was adequate. The. bed was hard enough.
