There was nothing to dislike of the property.

The property has one of the best CP value. Cheap cost for living with high performance value. I also enjoyed the location which was next to cafes, convenient stores, and restaurants. Because I have a car, the site was able to reserve a parking spot nearby (1 min. walk away.) There is so much around - parks, lakes, rivers, museums, and culture sites. The butler was also super friendly, and he was able to help me figure out more about Taiwan culture and getting around Yilan.

Location could be better, you need to take the bus to the train station, distance is about 2,5 km.

The location of the hostel was my main gripe with the place, public transport in Yilan is not the best thus it was not easy to reach from the main station, the location is also further from the core of the city. Would be more appropriate if you have your own transport!

My 6-people mixed dorm was super spacious, with enough privacy to feel like it's your own space. The bathroom was always super clean and the staff and I were able to communicate with help from google translate :) Also complimentary tea, coffee and fridge. the location is two minutes from the hot spring too :)

The length of the room is a bit short for someone of my height (175cm) so sometimes my feet might hit the door.

The room is quite comfortable, not big but you can have a private space. The host was very kind to talk and share stories.

Grout in bathroom was black, not sure if dirt of mould but just had an old bathroom kind of vibe.

The fans on the capsules made a high pitched constant buzzing sound from the ones next door. The capsules weren't sound insulated at all so it was like having snoring directly next to me. Worst part there was only one toilet for the entire floor (at least one dorm of 10 beds and there were other rooms too) so I woke up needing to use the rest room but had no where to go :/

There is no obvious check-in desk, so I was a little bit confused at first. There seems to be only one bathroom for floor, which means one could potentially need to wait for a good while (even though I didn't encounter this problem myself).

The pod-style accommodation was clean, comfortable, and modern. The bathroom was well-kept. They have a nice little lounge with cooking utensils, games, and books. The location isn't bad, nearby a Hi-Life convenience store.

Mattress was kinda thin, so not very comfortable. Walls are very thin, so you can hear other people snoring. Earplugs highly recommended.

Checkin was a hassle, had to play phone tag, waiting around on getting new door codes. Trouble communicating. Not a horrible situation, but annoying.

Good hostel for a few nights stay. Clean enough. Is more of a student's accommodation than a place for international tourists.

This was my second time staying here, the first time my sleeping pod was very comfortable, but this time the mattress was so thin that it felt like I was sleeping on the floor. It left me with hip pain for 2 days afterwards. There was also only 1 toilet/shower for 8 people, but the second floor had extra toilets if you needed.
