Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Hong KongA huge problem lies with its shuttle bus service. We paid a visit to this hotel only 4 months ago (last December), then the hotel provided 19 times of virtually hourly shuttle bus service per day (0800-2200). This time, the daily service has been shrunk to 7 times daily (on average per 2.5 hours). Worst still, patrons are required to book in advance for both in-bound and out-bound service, which is extremely unreasonable or impractical for arriving patrons. This new arrangement only came into effect in April, (5 days before our arrival), and we had not been informed of this new arrangement beforehand (we made the booking in early January)! Consequently, we were very frustrated to wait for the hotel bus at the assigned spot that never arrived! Finally, I would like the hotel reverts its shuttle bus service to its original shape in time for the peak summer season!
First, the room, including bathroom, is very spacious and clean. Second, the breakfast is varied and delicious. Third, it's good and relaxing to sit in its cafe to enjoy a cup of tea and a piece of cake as welcoming bonus.

AustraliaNil. I like everything.
Well I would like to make a detailed review of the place as I and my friends enjoyed our stay here a lot. We stayed for 4 nights just this February. Staff: Exceptional, speaks english without any issues. Location: as for the people who are saying that the location is not prime, this place is good on the other hand for people who would like to relax and enjoy the sceneries of taiwan. They provide shuttle bus anyway that goes to nangang exhibition centre and the nangang station, the timings were frequent too so its not too bad. It is also beside costco. Nangang station: As they have a shuttle that goes to nangang station, it was a very good experience as there are two shopping centre in the nangang station, city link and global that has everything that we need. Most shops are japanese and korean inspired which made it more exciting. There are plenty of good restaurant in this place too. Laundry service: Woah, we were shocked. Lol like literally they make your clothes new and pack it one by one as if you just bought it. Cleaning service: Was exceptional, lol they are the best, I feel like they have OCD that they have arranged our room perfectly. Requested a late check out and they approved very easily. Good staff Free Breakfast: has some different menu everyday, We like it, theres plenty of seasonal fruits and a taste of taiwan. Pastries are nice too. Freebies, theres a lot of voucher that werent able to use due that we were outside most of time. They gave us free cake and coffee, as well as voucher for hotpot. Spa bath/onsen: Very nice lol especially if you had a long day of walk in taiwan, the dry sauna and steam bath is nice. Room space: We booked the deluxe room. and geez can fit maybe 10 people we feel like kings. hahaha. Bathroom is spacious too. We booked 1102, 1105 and 1106. We will definitely visit this place again if we go to Taiwan. - Paul

Hong KongBetween 0930 to 1130, which is the peak hour for check-out, the provision of shuttle service should be half-an- hour in frequency.
Having been upgraded, we were given a suite which is huge in size and comfort. However, my observation is that even a normal standard room is huge comparatively. A good variety of quality food is provided for breakfast. Definitely a desire to return next time.

Czech RepublicThe hotel is not so foreigner friendly, none of the staff talk good English. They tried, but all communication was difficult, especially when I needed something. Also, the information on their website is not complete, you can not find the time of checkout or the opening hours of the restaurants anywhere. Oh, and there is no way to eat there in the evening if you are alone. I went to their restaurant and was told at the entrance that it is not possible to eat there alone as it is a Chinese restaurant. I just wanted to have some dim sums but I was not permitted to eat those, the concierge let me choose from two parts of the menu and I had to get fried rice. I honestly don´t understand why two people can order five dishes but one person can not order two types of dim sums. That was really uncomfortable and it would have been preventable if it had been written anywhere on their website or mentioned by the staff. I recommend eating in the city before coming back to the hotel, especially if you travel alone.
Even the "normal rooms" are very pretty and the hotel is overall very nice and clean. I got some welcome snacks in my room and the cleaning service was really nice, I got some bottled water every day. A bus stop is close and it is easy to get to Nangang exhibition station where you can get on the metro. The staff is trying to solve your problem and they are pleasant.

United StatesThe location was nowhere near bus nor subway stations. The room was so outdated that you cannot find any USB outlets. None. And I found hair right by the bathtub when I checked in the room. Gross.
The size of the guest room was bigger than average. That's about it.
