Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

TaiwanThe lobby feels dark! Be prepared with mosquito repellent as there are plenty in the lobby!
The location was great near an MRT station and all amenities close by during our stay. The rooms are large/spacious and decorations were nice to give some character to the otherwise “business-looking” rooms. The kids were happy to play with the games even though we thought these were free to use but require coins, except for the table football in the lobby. The price was unbeatable! great surprise was the free parking right into the center of Kaohsiung.

The spacious room and the hotel location were definitely a plus point. It's close to the main Kaoshiung train station and the City Council station which made moving about very convenient and hassle free.

Location is great, a fews walk from the night market and a few more mins to the nearest MRT station, very convenient. Staff are friendly and helpful.

AustraliaI have stayed here a few times, and each time I was satisfied, except for this time. I booked a single room with a window. Since I made two bookings, I asked to check them in together. I was informed that it was a different type of room, and I would have to pay an extra TWD 200 for the other booking. I accepted that. However, when I opened the door, the room was so small; there was only a double bed and a very narrow space around it, with nothing else. There was a small wooden shelf for the tea pot. I went to the reception to ask if there was any room available with at least a small desk. The lady said I would have to pay an additional NTD 200 per night for another room. I had no choice because I needed to work. I had stayed in a single room before, and there was also a desk. I don't understand why there is no desk this time, and the room is even smaller than the single room I stayed in previously. After paying the extra fee, I found that my booking did not provide good value at all.

United KingdomThe wallpaper was coming off the wall, the laminated floor tiles were coming apart, scratches all over the floor, the sofa leg was bent the curtains needed to be fixed to the hugs and the windows needed cleaning outside. Breakfast could do with having some fruit and the coffee machine needed servicing.
It had a good large bathroom with all the amenities. The room was a good size and there was a fridge which was useful, especially for keeping things cold as it was very hot out.
