Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

TaiwanI like everything just the issue with no parking and also because of Covid-19 the entrance is closed. I think the instructions of how to get into the hotel should be made clear. Especially as a foreigner, I cannot read any Chinese. English instructions will be appreciated.

United StatesBreakfast was mostly cold and disappointing, but edible. Usually had scrambled eggs, veggies, sausage, buns, congee, coffee and juice.
The location was great, right by the MRT and walking distance to many restaurants.

NetherlandsThe breakfast was a little disappointing. We experienced earthquake while staying, after the earthquake we expected to hear some instruction or at least some message from the hotel, but didn't.
The location is really good! The bed is comfortable as well. We also appreciated very much that the hotel prepared the baby bed ready in the room.

TaiwanFree WiFi was slow on the day when I stayed. Hotel registration was on the 15th floor, but most of the room were on the other lower floor.
An office desk was helpful for a visitor or business man. Room was quiet even the hotel was closed to Nanjing road.

ChinaBreakfast was a little bit strange - I would consider it a mix of breakfast and dinner foods, and iced tea. The cinnamon bun was quite dry. But overall it wasn't bad.
I chose this hotel because they accepted guests who had completed quarantine but were within the 7 day self monitoring period. The value, size and comfort of the room and its amenities were very good, considering the low price I paid.

TaiwanThere were only two pillows and both were quite thin- not enough support and comfy for side-sleepers. The check-in process took quite long due to the staff not familiar with it but they let us check in early which was quite generous!

United StatesThe room had an odd smell, kind of moldy. This might be normal given the humidity in Taiwan but it was very pungent especially in my room so it made me feel like things weren’t really that clean. The fridge also made a weird noise that kept me up at night.
Great location! Very convenient to get to, lots to find and explore around the area in terms of the night market and food scene. Service was also very solid.

United StatesThe entire hotel smells like sewage overflow, not sure it’s because of old carpet or the cleaning solutions or deodorant they use. The stench was unbearable. For our 5 nights stay, every time we came in from outside to the hotel , especially hallways and elevators , we can smell it, and the smell inevitably came in to the room. Suggest hotel management seriously look into this issue.

SingaporeLate check in and poor staff attitude. Only given rooms 3 hours after check-in time at 3 pm and even then, they got our booking wrong and tried to give us a smaller room with wrong bed type, making excuses about being full. No apologies and hostile attitude of frontline staff Vanessa spoilt our first impression. On first day, room not made up (bedding, towels in disarray and cups left in toilet sink unwashed) despite us requesting to make up room. Does not live up to expectations of 4–star hotel.
Location within few minutes walk of 2 MRT lines (Wenhu/Brown) and Songshan - Xindian /Green). Small local eateries and 24h convenience stores in roads leading off the main road.

SingaporeNothing.
Location is good, few minutes away from the metro station. Room is huge for the price paid (by Taipei standards) and bed is very comfortable. Toiletries provided and room is clean. Polite and friendly staff. Close by to shops and eateries. Will come back to stay again when I am next back in Taipei.

IsraelAfter checking in we found out that there are no towels in the room. The staff asked that we pay for towels because it is an “eco room”. When we asked their help to order a taxi to the airport they asked that we pay them and not to the taxi. After more than half an hour of waiting we simply went outside and picked a random taxi.
Good location. Rooms are spacious

United StatesStaff was indifferent and humorless.
Location is near everything you need plus a long wet market. Facilities ok but everything was covered in plastic - phone, remote, I felt like I was in a science fiction movie. It’s 25 feet from a better hotel so you get envious.

TaiwanThe rooms could use a deep clean - lots of dust around the curtains and cabinets. They need a deep refresh.
They have complimentary coffee, but I did not see any breakfast. The best thing here is the free laundry machine - very useful for travelers.

AustraliaThis hotel as far as value for money is concerned is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. It's in an amazing location and the amenities of the hotel are up to scratch. I was very fortunate to get a room upgrade but even the standard rooms are big and clean. The staff were very nice and helpful. Also the cleaner made the room spotless every time. They provide water every day as well. Super comfy bed and I quite liked the interior design of the rooms. I'd HIGHLY recommend spending a bit extra to getting a better room. You're still getting a great deal. Also if you're chasing a good coffee around the area, check out One OK Coffee about 2 minutes down the road.
