Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomHallways and bedroom smells bad. Room is not very clean, and not kept in best shape. You can’t control AC temperature and it is very loud to keep it on during the night. In the morning I believe another guest was smoking in their bathroom/room and the ventilation fan in our bathroom was bringing cigarettes smells from another room. Over priced for what offers, we have stayed in a lot better places for better prices in the whole of Taiwan.
Location is very good, close to the train station and to the night market.

Hong KongCannot set the temperature of the room, so the room is quite cold. Should make signs or instructions to show how to lower the temperature of the room. I need to ask for another blanket. No shower curtain in the room.
Staff/receptionist (night shift? perhaps) is very friendly and give some useful recommendations to me. Location is awesome and accessible with many shops, a night market and convenience stores. Like the reusable paper towel which is more clean.

Malaysiathe corridor carpeting was very dirty and badly needed to be vacuumed. stayed that way for 2,5 days when we were there. walls are paper thin. there was a party of young men and they partied for two nights till 1am. to be fair, the reception chap did try to help us on the first night but we didn’t bother asking again on the second night there is mold in the bathroom and the partition was not enough to stop the shower from splashing everywhere the room was a little dusty and crammed & I know this is difficult to manage but we found quite a lot of hair all over the room when we first checked in :-( the hotel also appeared to be popular with your groups. we do not recommend them for family stays
they gave us complimentary breakfast once (for a two night stay) and it was better than expected. the air conditioning worked and there wasn’t a musty smell the lady receptionist was rather rude. the male day receptionist stepped in twice to help w questions and he was much friendlier and courteous! he had to manage front desk and help us with toiletries - and not a word of complaint. the toilet seat was heated and the toilet flushed well which is something I’m careful abt in Taiwan :P
