The 6-bed mixed dorm is very crowded; the 4-bed female dorm is also small but more manageable. No kitchen use, just water & access to fridge.

Super friendly and helpful hosts. More social than most hostels I've been to in Taiwan. Had a great shallow water scuba dive for folks with zero experience!

A very cosy homestay really, very friendly family. Great beachfront location, only a 10-minute scooter ride away from the main ferry harbour. Lovely if you like to be in a more quiet spot on the island, close to Secret Beach.

The toilets were sometimes all occupied. The hostel is far away from the city so it requires some planning to transport the luggages if they don't fit onto a scooter.

Fine for me, but just to be aware that if you arrive at the main harbour, you need to rent a scooter to reach the hostel. I did see a bus several times so that is an option. Another option is to take the local ferry, which arrives at a harbour which is closer to the hostel.

Easy check in, prompt responses, clear instructions, nice location! I stayed during the week when it was not at full capacity, so I had a very comfortable stay in the dorm, with 2/4 nights with the room to myself! I liked the opportunity to socialise with the Taiwanese workers and guests, even if it was limited at times due to the language barrier. They accommodated me well and cleaned the spaces every day. The lounge is nice as a chill area, and there is a kitchen where you can get water and prepare your food.

Upon arrival I instantly felt like home. The facilities were clean and cozy, the host and staff very friendly and caring. You need to rent a scooter or ebike to get there, if you arrive before 5pm there is a bus. I can't drive a scooter, but it was super easy to get there with an ebike, the ebike shop drove my luggage to the hostel. There is a beautiful beach right in front of hostel, I went there for early morning swims. It was a very wholesome stay, I will come back"

Chris is a very friendly owner and he is also a diving instructor. Must try diving as there is in-house discount and his style to facilitate fun diving is something newbies like me will love! 10/10 will return to this hostel when I’m back in Xiaoliuqiu!

The location was very difficult to get to without a scooter. The hostel provides scooters for use, but I can’t drive one. Seeing as it is a small island, there is only one bus and one taxi and the bust stops running around 4:30. This made it difficult to get around IF all you have are your legs. The beds also could have been a bit more comfortable. Overall, not problems for those who can drive ☺️

The staff at the hostel were incredible! Ruby and Joanne were so helpful and even drove me to get food, as I don't drive a scooter. The hostel makes it very easy to book activities such as diving, SUP, or snorkelling! The people made my experience really memorable!
