How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The information is not clear. TMS is actually for Taipei Main Station is it? I walk around looking for Lin Inn TMS since the internet said 2 different name. The staff atleast try to learn few word in english.
If you want to stay near Taipei Main Sta. This is a good place. Just a few step from exit point.

The facade and elevator looked like they were way past their prime.
The room was big enough and it gets cleaned everyday. Bottled water, toothbrush kit and room slippers are provided everyday.

I liked the location a lot. The room was exactly as depicted but not less. My intention was not to spend much time in the room anyway so it met my needs. What put it over the top is that the bed was great and staff was friendly and responsive.

Bed. The spring was almost out of the frame. Should change the mattress and blankets.
From reviews, I learned that many guests got the old rooms with smoked smell and hard bed and old bathroom and so on. So I didn't expect much. But, to my surprise, we got a clean room with good air-conditioning and nice bathroom. We enjoy hot shower. Our room was next to the drinking water corner so we could reach hit water and coffee ASAP. Staff also warm and helpful. Thanks a lot.

The hotel itself is spotless, but the rest of the building has definitely seen better days - not really a gripe, though. As I said above, a shower curtain would be good...!
I have stayed here before, and it is everything I need - cheap, very comfortable and close to everything. The room is basic but the bed is superb, at least for me. The only odd thing is that they don't provide a shower curtain, so Taiwan-style, you soak the bathroom floor...

The bathroom is a bit dated with a week flush for the toilet and there was no shower curtain for the bathtub so need to be careful of the wet floor after a shower.
Great location close to Taipei station. The room was very spacious and there was good water pressure for the shower. The staff was also very responsive to any questions or needs. There are many restaurants nearby including a number of vegetarian restaurants on the same block so you never have to go far for good food.

Somewhat outdated room. They charge so much more for the weekend/holiday that I had to find another hotel. It was a shame to leave with such a huge price difference. I understand that's a common practice in Taipei
Relatively good room for Taipei in an excellent location. Staff is helpful. I enjoyed my stay here. Location is good, very close to Taipei Main Station as well as central attractions

It is very unfortunate that the bathroom does not have any shower curtain as water can spill out onto the floor.
The location was really close to Taipei main station which makes it really convenient. The room size and the lighting of the room was great.

Cash only for the payment. Room cleaness may be further improved. The entry to the hotel is not very easy to find (cell phone map won't give you an exact location, so we went to a different buidling).
Great location, close to Taipei Station. Convenient stores and foods are just downstairs. Staff are very nice. Easy check-in.

Nothing that we didn't like except for the entrance to the hotel which is a little shabby. However, the rooms are very clean.
The location is really great, with super easy access to Taiwan Main Station and walking distance to places such as the Chang Kai-Shek memorial and Ximending.

The waiting area is kinda small
Location is perfect. Easy access to mrt, airport train and regular train. Food stalls, Starbucks and mc Donald's are nearby.
