Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

SingaporeLocation would require heavy use of uber as the nearest place with food and amenities is 5mins away in the opposite direction of the train station, which is 10mins away in the reverse direction. Breakfast is alright if it's included but not worth the price for ala carte.. food is good but the service staff just seems so overwhelmed with the crowd..
Large spacious room with very comfortable bed and sofa. Service staff are professional and helpful. Nice pool but only has 2 deck beds for lazing on.

SingaporeSome staff were not friendly. The hotel charged more than the 5 room nights charges as deposits instead of only a token as deposits. The staff were not able to explain the room deposit procedure.
Toilet is spacious. Room is clean. Good supplies of complimentary bottled water. Robot delivery to room is fun.

Hong KongThe room is nice and clean, staffs are very helpful. Will definitely come back again in the future. The hotel is not in the city center but it is still very convenient. There is a big shopping center about 7-10 mins walk from the hotel, free shuttle is available from the mall to hotel as well.

SingaporeWas a 15mins walk from the nearest metro station though (those with heavy luggages do take note!). Signal for the TV was a little laggy too but okay for me.
Room and toilet are clean. Love the curtains to block off the sunlight! <10mins walk to the nearest mall (Honhui plaza)!

TaiwanI can't compliment installing a huge window in the bathroom I can't see the point in my opinion and since pool is too shallow we were not allowed to dive which is a little bit disappointment for me.

United StatesThe staff was polite but was simply not trained on a lot of details. They should explain things like there being no token or code or anything for the car park (the gate opens for any car when you go in or out of the underground parking lot; there seems to be no check of anything. I did not quite understand how they have it that way; I guess they have a lot of parking spots available in 2-3 levels). Explain that the one person's breakfast added to all reservations is just a complementary add-on for a period since opening the hotel as a nice gesture - so people won't complain that only one BF is given. Explain that they would add coffee beans to the complementary coffee machine in the lobby when asked, rather than look lost. The machine had a "sorry; not working" sign. I had to ask what was wrong, and only another staff person the next morning told me that they simply had to add beans, and it was working! Nobody told me about the pool or exercise room access. Then one serious annoyance. The cost for for my wife and daughter (not complementary like mine) could not be added to the room, and they first made us pay the breakfast on credit card before eating at the restaurant. Why not just add this to the room? Or just warn people at check-in to bring credit cards or cash when you come for breakfast. None of these things were said by the staff at check-in. Basically, talk to the customers and tell them what they need to know, rather than just do the job of checking them in and acting polite! I would have given a 10 for the hotel but for this lack of proper training of the staff. Others have mentioned it in reviews, but it is not improving after 3-4 months of operation.
Brand new hotel. Very clean all around. The rooms were quite big and bright. The bed and towels were great. Terrific view from upper floors with a glass window across the whole wall. The underground car park was very big and had spots even after the hotel got fully filled up on the New Years eve. The elevators were fast enough for 25 floors. Excellent breakfast spread with all Asian and Western items you would want (though expensive at around USD 22). There is a fairly big departmental store one block away. The MRT train line is right in front but the station is 3 blocks away (maybe 10-15 min walk).
