The lady at the reception didn't give me any information where to get what. I had to find my own way and look for my bedsheets and pillow to do my bed. No towel was issued to me. As breakfast was included, it was not clearly stated how I would get it and within what time. The male staff were helpful and more approachable.

Most people staying in the hostel are male. Therefore, the male bathroom can get quite crowded and usually looks a bit messy in the evening. Even more so, because there is just one bathroom for all rooms! Inside the rooms there are not even sinks for brushing teeth. So it might happen that while you are brushing your teeth you can hear somebody taking a dump right next to you.

The area where the hostel is located seems to be a busy area that is still active in the evening. That is not the case for all neighbourhoods in Taipei. The hostel provides slipers and I liked the night tables that each dorm bed had. I also liked that each bed had its own air ventilation. Furthermore, the hostel provides water and coffee in the kitchen.

Some small details felt like they could've been a little cleaner (e.g. shower/kitchen, musty smell in the hallway). Also, you have to install your own bedding which I found uncommon at other hostels. Towels are for rent but for a reasonable fee.

Super convenient location (same building as train station), 5 min walk from a night market. Very spacious lockers in each room and comfy beds.

Sometime it smells weird, even though it looks probably clean. Also, staff could be more friendly (they were not rude, but also only talked or looked at you if you actively asked for help; that is, they are okay, but could be more prestative sometimes). Also, wifi is really bad, it's almost the same as nothing. I need to work and had to go to a café because the wifi there is very unreliable.

Shared kitchen is good. Rules in common areas are clear and work well. Rooms and bathrooms are mostly clean. I like the AC, it works well and is essential in such a hot place. Thick walls make it well insulated from street noise. I like the indluded breakfast too. The young girl in the staff is the most helpful, with good english.

1. This time I chose Double room type, but I could hear the sound of running water from other rooms at midnight which makes me hard to sleep well. 2. I could often hear the noise from the busy street or other rooms( when the doors are open or closed) , even during late night, and this woke me up many times during sleep.

That is an awesome place to stay. It is set on a good location, there are plenty of options nearby, food and stores in general. The beds are cozy and the place is quite clean and nice.
