The hotel is quite dated & facilities do not look well maintained. Staff at the counter didn't look friendly or approachable. Power socket positions seem weird, hard to boil water with the kettle on the table since the cable was too short to be plugged into the socket under the table.

Really a short 2 to 3 min walk to hotel from Jiaoxi train station. Very convenient location. The hot spring bathtub is also very big so I can get a good soak. Guess you can't expect to get a perfect accommodation with such price point.

Ventilation in toilet can be improved. The toilet was full of steam after hot spring bath.

We stay for 3 nites and hotel didn’t get provide cleaning service so I had to ask hotel to give us new towels and cleaned up the trash. Room, elevator, lobby smell funny as hotel uses quite cheap room's perfume…

Maybe because it's a spa hotel, but it smelled pretty damp the whole time inside the hotel.

The location was great and the room was comfortable. The bed was huge as well. I asked the staff for softer pillows and they gave me a down pillow, which made all the difference. Thank you!

Nice, clean accommodation in the city center with huge bath, where you have hot spring tube. Hotel provided us even bigger and better room than we booked for the same price. Staff was very nice and helpful. Overall stay was very pleasant.

We received upgrade to bigger room. It’s minutes away from train station and downtown area. We were able to leave our luggage at hotel after check out.

I have intention to pay via cash upon checkin. But hotel staff will cancel your booking.com booking and proceed to charge your credit card despite indication of no repayment is required. Room has a lot of mould growth. Bed spring is damaged and is very soft, sinks in when u lie on it. The bathing area is the same as onsen area, all other hotels I stay at separates the bathing and onsen area.

The location is a little far, 10-minute walk from Xinbeitou station so if you have a lot of luggage, I would recommend locking it up in a public locker in the station rather than lugging it up the hill.

Our room had their own private hot springs tub that offered privacy and the sound of birds just outside. It felt really peaceful and I loved the traditional Japanese interior with tatami and 8-sided windows

Location was amazing, just 2 mins walk from JiaoXi train station. There were many food stores and convenience stores nearby. I was given a free room upgrade. The room was large, spacious and clean. The hot spring bath was an amazing experience, water filled up quite fast. But do note the shower shares the same area as the hot spring bath. There were complimentary cup noodles and mineral water too. Highly recommended if you are looking for a value for a hotel with private hot spring bath in a very convenient location.

Not a very good value for money. Does not include breakfast or even a meal voucher for a nearby shop. Room needs maintenance on the wallpaper and wear and tear. Room was not made up after the first night, not even trash taken out; it was not made clear why. Our particular room was 2F, right near a streetlight, and the curtains were inadequate for blocking 100% of the light. Bathroom outlet and the hairdryer did not have ground fault protection, so dry at your own risk in the bathroom.

Location couldn't be better. Down the street from the train station and very close to the night market area. During a busy holiday the area was bustling and it was nice to be so close to it. Apparently we were upgraded to a slightly larger room, but see the next comment why I wasn't thrilled. The bed was quite large and rather firm; not my liking but not terrible.

We booked it through Booking.com. The manager upgraded our room, it's big and clean. Big bath tub and big bed. Quite at night.

My room was on the second floor, which is fine. However, I did feel this made my room a bit more exposed to the outside then I'd have preferred. As such, light and noise from the street came more into the room than excepted (not unbearably so, but not ideal). The room had heavy curtains to combat this, and they were quite effective. But it also would have been nice to have some sort of lighter curtains that could let some (but not all) light in, and give a little bit more privacy without having to resort to dark and heavy curtains. This also wasn't relevant to me but note that there is no parking at this hotel. I took the train/bus, so it didn't matter to me, but other travelers might want to know this

Location is excellent; it is centrally located, it is just up the street from the train station and a block away from the bus station (where I came in). Room was cleaner and much more spacious than I anticipated (always good surprises). Having the hot springs water pumped into the bathroom was also just a very nice way to unwind after a day of travelling. Exceptional value; very high quality for what one pays (which is very much appreciated as a student; I chose this location for price and was blown away at the quality).
