Very pleasant stay. Only thing is that the bed / pillow could be firmer. But this is my personal preference. :)

I had a great time at Check inn in Taichung! It was super clean and quiet, and the staff were really nice and respectful of privacy. One cool thing was how easy it was to get there from Taipei – just a quick 12-minute walk from the Ubus station. And there were tons of awesome night markets nearby, like Shan He Lu Rou Fan – Second Market and Yizhong Street Night Market, which were only about a 20 to 30-minute walk away. You've gotta try the local food stalls, especially Fu Din Wang – the food was so good! And if you want some cool souvenirs, there are lots of old and famous bakeries nearby. The only downside is that it's a bit far from the MRT station, so you might need to take an Uber sometimes. But overall, it was a really awesome experience and I can't wait to go back!

No designated clothing rack for dry clothes, need to share with bath towel and only 2 hangers provided for 2 people. Breakfast is not within the hotel so need to walk 300m for breakfast. Open concept bathtub suitable only if staying with people you are comfortable with.

Clean and cosy. Bidet is good. Buffet breakfast variety is good

The hotel was situated in the old town area of Taichung which isn’t quite walking distance from any of the tourist spots, night markets or shopping malls, but there’re lots of bus options.

The staff were super friendly and helpful. We also quite enjoyed the breakfast. The hotel room was reasonably sized.

No parking available in the premise and have to find parking lots elsewhere. Not much amenities available onsite such as laundry or gym etc.

Good location and the duplex room is relatively large compared with standard taichung rooms. Loved the view or the room from the 2nd level and check in and check out is smooth. Breakfast to be taken in another building 1 street away and was OK.

A but techy for checking in and in the room. For some it might be confusing, but they have good innovations.

Nice value and hotel. Walking distance or 5 minute taxi to train station. Good Asian and Western breakfast offering. Staff nice, but limited English. It was not a problem. Recommended for your visit to Taichung.

Too humid, I can feel the moisture in the sheets of the mattress on the floor. But the main bed is good, there’s no moisture.

Breakfast is rich, the bed is comfortable, the shower place has two shower heads.

The self check-in can be confusing for those who are not accustomed/familiar with it.

The toilet is heated and has a bidet! Shower area nicely separated from bedroom, and ample room space.

Certain rooms did not have windows with view and self check-in process may be a bit difficult for older adults or those less tech savvy. Otherwise receptionist very helpful and friendly.

One of the rooms had a living area with sofa, highly recommend for families. Toilet was good, soap provided was good as well. Certain places within walking distances, good. Difficult to flag down at taxi at the area.

Once you turned off the light, the A/C display light is very bright and cannot be turned off, which is very irritating in the complete darkness, as we were trying to sleep.

Its rare to find a mezzanine in a hotel here, which separates the kids and our floor, and everyone loved it. the room also came with lots of children’s books to read, which is a nice touch.

It was very surprising seeing the hotel placed the cute alligator doll on the beds. The room was spacious, they even provided body lotion, which today many hotels don’t. Highly recommended!

The room was not very big, and not immaculate, I found dust here and there. Toilet paper almost finished and not replenished during room cleaning.

The hotel looks pretty new; the room was nice and everything was functional. Despite the building having humidity problems they installed dehumidifiers both in the room and corridor. The staff was nice and helpful. I loved the area, central district is more traditional and if you check around there are some interesting spot.

Location is pretty far from the train station, was supposed to take an Uber but the application was not working and not helpful that the taxi drivers at the station is not willing to pick up their guest due to far location. Overall, the unit is fine, except that there is no heater function for the room, hence I was freezing most of the time, if you are very afraid of cold, please pack more thicker PJs. Water trapping of the bath is a bit slow but would not overspill out so it's fine.

Like the cleanliness of the room, its well designed and bright unit. There is TV in the room as well, was located 5min walk away from the traditional market. Its a quiet area when its comes to night time.
