Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

I like the location near the station. The place is also maintained. Its a self check-in so for a non taiwanese person like me its kinda uneasy. However the laopan/laopanyang is attentively replying my question as much as they can.

ItalyThe name of the lane and number of the building are correct. Just refer to these. By using the given address on booking's and Google's map the location is incorrect. The mattress was too soft. The dormitory is at the 2nd floor (3rd for AE). The city centre is about 20 to 30 minutes by bus.
The dormitory is roomy, has got air-conditioning, big shower and two easy chairs. The beds are big. The common hall is spacious, has got tables with chairs and TV. The train station is 5 minutes walk from the hostel. The owner or manager and I got in contact by Line and never met. Despite this, he gave me all the directions and allow me to leave the backpack in the hall until late the day I left.

United StatesNo Staff anywhere around and very inadequate explanations gor how to get in with codes, etc. Sent instructions in Chinese only even after pleading for help. Hot water for tea but no real kitchen. Hostel style clutter in common room. NO ELEVATOR! I walk with a cane and had to haul my bag down four flights alone since no staff present . No guests around either.
Close to train station, clean, and good hot water. I had booked a hostel bed but they were like a jungle gym to climb into the upper bunk I had requested against . Since hotel was basically empty, they did give me a large toom of my own, so thank you! Good place if you read Chinese for the arrival data.

ThailandI had sent a message advising I would be arriving in the morning and requested access to secure my suitcase. I was advised check in was 3pm so I had to leave my suitcase with baggage storage at the station. I was provided with some directions from the train station. I walked around in circles for half an hour before a person from the nearby car rental shop assisted me. Booking.com states the property name is Liyar House but you won't find any sign saying that. You need to look for a sign that says House of L & K. I sent a message at 3.45pm advising that I was awaiting check in. Then another message. No reply. I had to wait around until 4.45pm before I was able to check in. Homestay accommodation can be problematic.
Located only a 5 minute walk from the train station. My room was a decent size and clean. Everything worked fine. The bed had clean linens and afforded a comfortable sleep. The shower had hot water and good pressure.

United Statesthere weren’t many guests staying here during the time i was there, so did not have a great social scene. i also did not see the host once during my 4-day stay, which was odd. most of these bed and breakfasts are converted townhouses so dont expect any elevators
the place was clean. there’s not much in the area, the whole area is full of bed and breakfasts. very easy to get to from the train station.
