Would have been great if there was liquid detergent and a double bed for couples. The price quality balance is a bit steep for a private room.

It is very cozy and the location is ideal as a base of operations. Clean rooms, clean esthetic. The atmosphere is warm and kind. Definite plus is the balcony to dry clothes and the laundry room.

Wish the staff could speak English more rather than assuming I could speak Chinese. But staff were friendly and polite overall. Room was small for big luggage so I would strongly suggest if you to upgrade or get bigger room.

The location was very, very convenient. Easy access to the building, beautiful rooftop area to chill, near train station, walkable to busstop to bring you around Taichung, walkable distance to Carrefour supermarket, alot of common space to chill with Taichung views and near Family mart. Toilet got bidet which is great.

A bit isolated if you want to be in the more busy areas of Taichung especially for nightlife and night markets. Make sure you bring all toiletries.

If HSR is your priority: perfect location. Beautiful minimalistic and calming design, close to a Muji store. Spacious kitchen, with all things available. Spaces to rad and study. Very professional and quickly responsive staff. Bike rental available.

The window of the room didn't face outside but in the corridor. That wouldn't be such a big problem by itself but the lights were on the whole night even shining through the curtain.

- The provided voucher can be redeemed at only several cafés or shops, and not all of them are nearby. (Ice at the front desk is including, of which I was not informed when checking in) - Staffs are nice but sometimes not fully professional...I could overhear the staffs at the front desk chatting loudly, when I was in the kitchen.(And they even lower down their voices when a new guest coming for check-in lol ...Not a serious problem, but I believe it could be improved thru some training:-)

While you can lock the door to the dorm room, and there are only two people sharing it, there’s no large lockers for say laptops or other things that can’t fit into a small safe I don’t think it’ll legitimately be a problem, but worth noting if such things are important for you

Simply amazing, from the views and location to the rooms themselves. The rooms were clean, simple, and spacious enough to open my luggage while still having room to walk around. The common areas were also very neat and comfortable, making our stay even more enjoyable.

Rooms can be noisy but you can grab earplugs in the reception.

Kind staff, great location. I got two 50NT vouchers for each night I spent at the hostel. You can use these to pay with in many restaurants in the area.

The shower head could be a little higher. It was chin level for me at 6'4".

The location is across from the train station, and Miyahara Ice Cream shop is one block away. The common area has a bank of windows overlooking the train station.

Very much fixed on 1500 check in despite being very quiet at the time - but this seems to be general Taiwan thing.

Great location near to Taichung station. Excellent spot to explore the city. Nice to run nearby. Check out the new 'highline' park (old trainline). Clean, cool & tidy room. Great sitting areas near to windows with great views. Rooftop good for chilled evening beers

Overall it's an excellent place to stay amongst youngsters, the location is just beside the Taichung station, where you can go anywhere with ease.

Room was a bit tight, wish there were more hooks and maybe a full-length mirror in the room. Also there were no direct sunlight/window, just one to the corridor.

It was such a great and affordable space for my friend and I. Location was convenient, located right across the train station and next to Miyahara, and other cafes and eateries were all around the corner. The room was really clean, had shampoo and body wash provided, water pressure was great. The spaces outside the room were so soothing and aesthetic! The beds and comforters were soooo comfortable and we had the greatest sleep.
