How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

on 2nd night, we do not have hot water due to maintenance on water heater. it's no choice but it's only for that evening.

Family room size is quite small for 2 adults and 2 kids . Not enough space to put our luggages, after put the luggages, limited space for us to walk.
The common space at B1 is very nice, relaxing and the clean. Hotel prepare plenty of food and drink for guests (24 hours) and there are free games and movie for the guests too. Front desk / customer service are very helpful and friendly.

The bed is too shaky. Whenever I moved the bed shook which disturbed my partner's sleep and likewise when she moved.
Location is great. Staff are friendly, helpful and efficient. Free snack and bar are a big plus.

Location is excellent, very near Ximending and Ximen MRT station Rooms are clean & chic. They provide self service refreshments like cup noodles, chips, pop corn, coffee & tea at the reception lobby. Staff is helpful & friendly.

The room is slightly smaller than I expected, but it is not a big concern.
Very good location. About 10 mins walk to Taipei Main Station. The hotel staff is helpful and patiently my questions. Free snacks are also plus to me.

good location, in ximending without being right on top of all the hustle and bustle. the lounge and snacks/drinks was really nice to have. free umbrellas for rent were a lifesaver

The room is really small. At least, by Western standards. Maybe OK for one person, but not for two. You can not use the table, because the fridge is under it. No chair, only a stool.
The staff!! Very nice and helpful people that really helped me during the quarantine. The location - very close to the main station. There are supermarkets, banks and a night market within short walking distance. The room was very clean.

Small bedroom/living room with no good place to put luggage. No closet/wardrobe. Also, trash removal and cleaning services were by request only. Weird small TV on a post blocks your way to the bathroom. They could go a long way by raising the bed up for underbed storage. The lighting system was dim and awkward to use. For this price, get a better room alone g a subway li e further afield, you will be happier.

The sounds. Verye noisy. Can hear the people talking or laughing in the immediate corridor. Can hear the water running in other bathrooms. Can hear the heavy ventilation system of other rooms - mine was off.
The very comfortable large bed, the private bathroom with hot water.

The room we had was unfortunately small, we had barely any space to store our luggage or walk comfortably to the bed. The AC was too strong regardless of the temperature we intended to set.
The location is central to all sightseeing sites and right in one of the busiest areas Ximen.
