The breakfast served traditional Taiwanese breakfast. They have different options ranging from porridge and toasts. I enjoyed the hot soy milk the most. ❤️

The hotel location is fine, close to Tianmu Square. It is possible to walk to the Taipei MRT (about 2 km), but there are also many opportunities to go by bus to Shilin and other MRT stations. The large choice at the breakfast table is exceptional, mostly typical Taiwanese food (but toast bread, cheese ... is also available). Staff is very friendly.

Mellowfields was pretty pricey when I booked it, the price was pretty inflated as I stayed there during New Year's Eve. However, I think the prices are usually pretty good on a normal day. The hotel is in a more rural area in beitou, so getting around to landmarks like Beitou Museum and Thermal Valley requires a cab or public transport. The rooms are not bad for people just looking for a place to spend the night!

The thing that really blew me and my partner away were the service and breakfast. Exceptional, exceptional service by mellowfield. Each and every single staff made you feel so much at home and after a long day of exploring beitou area, coming back to mellowfield was an exceptional feeling. The breakfast spread was also amazing, having multiple buffet dishes that are both traditional taiwanese and western so you will be fueled up before the day.

Clean and specious family room for my family of 4. There is a balcony where we can enjoy the city view. We also like the breakfast with delicious food. The receptionists are also very helpful. The hotel is near to bus stop, convenient stores, supermarket and eateries.

The location is quite far from the center of Taipei.. The walls were paper thin hearing all your neighbors. Room pretty small and old with bathroom dark and small.. Good shower though

Just a bit far from shilin night market... Walking distance nid 23minutes to the shilin mrt.. but easy to get bus if you wan to your destination.. But we nid to save time so u can call Uber drive... The Japanese tatami room super recommended... Very Spacious and comfortable..

The hotel is pleasantly located in one of Taiwans districts, a bit away from the center which can easily be reached by bus + train. The hotel personel is extremely serviable and efficient; there were a few minor items that were easily resolved. The hotel is very clean and professional. The breakfast was more taiwanese than western (a bit too greasy) but that was a minor issue.
