Inside the room was very humid, and it smelled bad. There is no window that can be stuffy, but it can be easily understood by its price.

Reasonable price and helpful staff to accommodate me. Clean bedsheets and spacious shower rooms.

The hotel was quite clean, although there are things like the top of mirror frames, which are not been cleaned on a regular basis. The rooms have no noise cancelling to other people and the alarm clock as well as to the outside. Nevertheless the town will get silent around 0:30 AM.

The staff can help you out with everything and can speak Chinese, English and more languages. The location is next to the japanese street and the Main Station Metro M6. There are many shopping centers nearby (difficult to find) like the k underground, city mall and others. 7-11 are on every corner. Metro is reachable in 3 min as well as the High Speed Rail.

Space was a bit tight and it was difficult for both of us to open our suitcases, but that was expected for that price and location. The shower area was slightly moldy but mostly kept quite clean.

The location is very convenient although it is easy to get lost in the Taipei Main Station area. The reception staff assisted us to book a fixed rate taxi to the airport for the middle of the night. The driver even arrived early and came up to the lounge area of the hotel to pick us up.

I would have given this place a much higher rating if it wasn't for the ' chemical" smell in my single room. I had read a review mentioning this prior and it's true the smell is quite overwhelming. I dealt with this since it was just one night but I booked elsewhere when coming back to Taipei from Chiayi.

The location is excellent , 5 mins walk to the train stations and plenty of eateries.

We were asked to change rooms to two separate rooms instead of a room for 4 at check-in and weren't informed beforehand. The smell in the corridors could also be improved.

The room got quite damp because no windows. Cannot have the AC below 24 degrees so it got quite humid and damp so it was a little uncomfortable to sleep. Also one of the women on reception was quite rude. She seemed more interested in checking her phone rather than answering my question (like I was literally asking her a question and she wasn’t even looking at me and was just on her mobile phone).

Clean and in the best location. Next to main station so really easy to get around from there. I’m safe neighborhood, lots of convenience stores and food shops nearby. Couldn’t get a better location! Hotel was very clean and room was dark but cosy.

Could have been a bit more social maybe some ice breaker small events would be nice to meet other guests.

The location is right next to the main station from which you can take high speed train to different cities. It has a nice social area not many people hanging out there but I liked to spend time there before sleeping. People are very friendly and helpful. You can leave your bags before or after check in safely at the reception. I happen to be there at the moment when the big earthquake happend and I can tell that even though it was very scary building seemed to be safe to me. I think its such a nice option in the city center of Taipei.

Have to walk in opposite directions for shower and toilets. Not placed together.

The hotel managed to withstand the 7.2 earthquake that hit Taiwan. The whole building was swaying and shaking and it didnt collapse. Now that exceeded my expectations and i am grateful it kept us all safe!

No private bathroom. Public restroom and shower needs to be checked more frequently for shortage of toilettes and bathroom tissue. Weak and unstable wifi.

Restrooms run small. Walls are kind of thin, I heard my neighbors arguing through the night. Also one of the elevators is boarded up.

Great location, lot of eateries and stores within walking distance. You can cross the street to go to the train station. The staff were great, they let me leave my bags there while I did the second leg of my trip.

The shared bathrooms are fine, but not sparkling. There is a dull colour scheme of black in some areas (other than lounge).

Unbeatable central location, visual distance from Taipei main station, so easy to reach and then leave by train for airport. Nice lounge area where I could nap on couch before room was ready. Friendly staff. Rooms small although quite smartly done.

The room was pretty small, but I also knew that going into it, though maybe they could put a mirror in there to make it feel a little bigger and have the aid of a mirror in the room. The toilets and the showers are in bathrooms on opposite ends of the floor which was odd, but totally fine for my stay.

Really convenient location (5 min from taipei main station and 10 min to Ximending area). I booked a single room with no window and with shared bathroom, the price was really worth it. the bed was comfortable and the shower was nice. Really helpful staff, was able to check in a bit early. They have paid laundry and a big common room area to eat or chill. Good wifi. Overall, good value for the price

Room's air wasn't too fresh and the machine didn't work well. There was a garbage in the corridor and in front of the door but the cleaner or hotel staff didn't take it off. It was disgusting.

Location was good and it was near the station and other places. Bed was comfortable and shower area was clean.
