My introduction to the property wasn’t super welcoming. It’s not majorly social but I think that’s also to do with the language barrier. Other than that really good!

Popinn was really greatly located in the Anping are and on the water. The property was exceptionally clean and the staff were super friendly. Would recommend but keep in mind it’s not a super social hostel.

The space per bed is huge, the bed is very comfortable, the bathroom is clean and the shelf in the shower is very useful. I really appreciate this hotel comparing to the others in Taiwan.

The staff was super friendly and I felt very comfortable throughout my stay. The location of the Hostel is absolutely perfect, right next to the canal and most of Anpings attractions can be reached by foot in less than 40 min.

The facilities were so new and well-equipped. There were two bathrooms in my floor(female only floor), equipped with enough shower rooms, toilets and other necessities. And they kept them so clean and comfy! !

The location is "in the middle" of the 2 areas of Tainan that are of most interest for visitors. Taking a bus in both directions is easy, but since I was personally a bit dissapointed by the Anping area, I think I would prefer staying more central in Tainan. Not sure if this value for money level can be found in more central Tainan.

In our 2 week trip in Taiwan, this was by far the best value for money we got from a hotel/hostel. Nice spaceous room, kingsize bed and also a perfect bathroom with a good shower. The staff was very welcoming, helpfull and had a good command of English. Next to a variety of local eateries at walking distance, the pizza restaurant next door also did a great job. There is also a nice common space to socialize if that's your thing. This hostel I can only recommended highly.

Not at all.

The environment is very clean and comfortable even though it just stayed for 2 nights. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Location wise, it is surrounded by many shops and restaurants. I will definitely come back again if I'm in Anping.

The door nob of the room is a bit loose maybe due to cheap quality, but nothing major.

The whole place is very clean, room spacious, great location. Good value for money. Will definitely stay here again next time.

For the room with river view: Clean, comfortable and spacious. There is a shared space at the entrance with a little kitchen for coffee, tea , water and space to eat. Staff were kind and helpful. Location is on the river, great for a walk or a bike ride.

Not much socialising, but I think it just means it needs more guests. So make a booking. The shower temperature can get unpredictable.

One of the best hostels I’ve stayed at in Taiwan. The beds are sturdy, and while there are six beds in the dorm, they are arranged in a way that no one else can actually see you when everyone is in bed, even if you leave the curtain open. The view outside is the river and it’s just a great view at night. Nice food options nearby. Plenty of toilets and showers and they are clean.

everything! modern and well organized. room have lockers, bed is comfortable and bathrooms clean. the kitchen is equipped and for free coffe, tea and cookies. The best thing are the free bikes, i could enjoy the city just by riding the bike!! The staff was very helpful, they accomodate all my request for baggage storage and call a taxi. Location is good: close to Old street, river, beach, park and only 15 mins bike from the west city district.

Lovely, simple, clean with very functional and comfortable decoration. Owners are super kind, helpful and very friendly. Amazing location overlooking the river and surrounded by loads of fantastic food options. Highly recommended!!

It’s a bit far from Tainan station if you didn’t rent the bike or motorcycle.

It’s really close to the beach and easy to travel by the bike they offer for free. The room is clean and comfortable.
