Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

ChinaCheck in Male staff not really smart, he asked me whether I broke the security lock in the room when I just stepped in the room and called him…. I actually feel offensive. And K lounge is quite empty, not much selection of little snacks and drinks while not in the breakfast time…. this can be improved.
Modern & New , nice bath tub , big tv. Three staffs 1 male, 2 female at reception before the day I checked in, 30 April are very friendly and helpful. They helped me to take the carrier package from Taichung and they even reserved money and help me to take change from the carrier service. The same male staff helped me on the day I check out 2 May, cuz the Drying Machines area had no clearly direction or manual booklet to help guests smoothly use.

Hong KongThe washroom design is weird, there’s no door just a curtain. So whenever someone’s using toilet/ taking shower, it gets so noisy Twin beds are single beds which are too small for one adult + one kid (I sleep with my boy). The room is also not well cleaned, we can see hair and dust at the corners. But the hotel is newly built so it still looks new.
The location is good, next to a big shopping mall and convenient store, subway 5-10 mins, quite a lot of restaurants nearby. The Japanese toilet is awesome!

AustraliaThe room included a balcony which was an additional charge, but it was entirely useless, only providing views of the alley way and garbage dumpsters. there was also no iron which made the only option the laundry service located on the 3rd floor. not supe convinient for a short stay.
K Hotel was great. my room was surprisingly large and luxurious. included a nespresso machine and toiletries. the breakfast was as expected from a hotel of this standard. the bed was firm and the shower was perfect.

United StatesAlthough the front desk staff were excellent, the cleaning staff missed something when cleaning our rooms each day like forgetting to empy the trash, leaving cleaning sponge in the room, forgetting towel, etc.
the front desk staff were excellent and very respectful....i am asian, so i was especially surprised and pleased when a staff came in to help us with the TV, he took his shoes off before entering the room. The breakfast were awesome and different everyday, well worth the money! the bed sheets and pillow were top quality and super clean. The shower had excellent pressure. we stayed in two differernt type of rooms due to room shortages on the weekend, we really love the room with the small sitting area/desk, the layout of the room was great, especailly for an extended stay, more room to walk about with our luggages and computer, etc. The other room we stayed over the weekend was more expensive and smaller, very cramped, would not recommend it.

United StatesThe washer/dryer facility: the washers had a very bad moldy smell, I recommend the hotel manager go to smell it personally …it needed to be deep cleaned. And when I was using it, one of the hotel staff (it seems I had seen her in the brackfast room before) came in and accused me of setting the machine on a wrong setting when i did not (I simply turn on the machine), then she said she had a customer asking her to do their laundry so she didn’t want me to set the machine for a long wash time (when I didn’t do that), then I saw her took clothes out of the next machine and put her laundry there….i am a customer, too and I am present to do my own laundry, and I was there FIRST, I did not appreciate the way she treated me as if I am second rated citizen when I am actually the CUSTOMER!!!! I feel like most hotels...they have a hard time fining workers for the less desireable jobs such as hotel cleaning staff...so while the front desk people were excellent, the cleaning staff seems over worked due to short staffing. The fact about the smelly laundry mathines, is just an in experience with the facility/equipment, the managers needed to use the washer machines themselves to experience what the customers are experiencing, unfortunately, i don't know of a single hotel manger that would actually do that, it seems below their class to do such a task.
The sheets, bed, pillows were awesome! The breakfast was the best ever and everyday was different (we stayed for almost 10 days). due to our schedule, we weren't sure if were staying the whole 2 weeks, but as we find our schedule changed we were able to book the hotel for more nights, though we did have to pay more and change rooms, but the booking process was smooth and no problem. The front desk staff were expcetionally helpful and all can speak English which was a big plus, they helped us in travel and other business related services.

BrazilThe noise insulation from the room next to you is unfortunately not very well. We could here kids runing around in the adjecent room(might by upstairs though). Apart from this, everything was good, but this is something you'd need to consider if you're a light sleeper.
This place has a great value! It's just opened, so everythig is tidy and clean. The staff we met was all very professional. The location is execellent with walking distance to green line metro and several buses stop by in front of the hotel. Room is big for this price in Taipei city center.

The location is nice, there are 2 subway stations (Taipei Arena exit 1 and Nanjing Fuxing exit 6) near the hotel. Breeze Nanjing Shopping Mall is a minute walk from the hotel. There is also a convenience store beside the hotel. The room is spacious. They even have a Japanese bidet in the toilet. The hotel has free laundry. The breakfast buffet is also good, they have a lot of choices.

BelgiumThe deluxe king room was very spacious, well equipped, clean and had a nice wooden design, like the whole hotel. Friendly and helpful staff although only a few spoke English. Tasty breakfast buffet with sufficient choice. Attractive location with a convenience store and shopping mall next door. Many small businesses in the neighborhood behind. If you prefer a large lobby, large windows in your room and fresh bread with cheeses for breakfast, this hotel might not be your choice. No issue at all to me though...

TaiwanBreakfast was a bit dull, I would be happy if they choose a better type of toast, bread and croissants, not to mention the coffee beans. The Asian breakfast was nice tho.
I didn't expect the staff to be this nice and friendly. They were super busy the morning I arrived, even if there were some problems (such as checked-in the wrong room and double charged my credit card by accidents), they still managed to resolve it rather quickly and friendly. They helped me to move all the heavy luggages and made sure everything was fine. The room has an interesting layout but I got all that I needed. Nice bathtub included some hotspring powder for a nice relaxing bath.

United StatesMy concern is the safety protocols (particularly fire prevention and SOP). The fire alarm went off in the middle of the night on my first night stay. It was clear that the staff on duty have no clear training or instructions for guests staying at the hotel. All guests (hopefully as no row call or tally of number of guest staying that night) were standing on the street waiting for instructions or clearance to re-enter the building. No notification were given to guests whether it was a false alarm or a real fire has taken place. If this was a serious incident of fire that occurred I would be extremely concerned on the protocols of the staff being able to handle and manage. Also, as I took the emergency escape stairs to the 1st floor while the fire alarm went off, the cleanliness of the hallways of the stairways were clearly not being cared for or cleaned for a while. Cigarette buds and plastic bottles were on the staircases which should be an area that hotel management should routinely inspect. My intend is not to complain but to hope that hotel management need to be aware of and have a plan to ensure the safety of staff and guests is improved. Thank you
It’s convenient, clean and room is adequate
