How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Room Too Small and breakfast was a vegetarian food and same food everyday
Reception staff are very helpfull , friendly especially Benjamen Huang and Joey Wong Raohe night market just and MTR station opposite the hotel. Wufenpu just 10 minutes walk from the hotel. Easy to find food

Light switches beside the bed wasn’t working. So I had to walk all the way to the door to switch on the main light. The room seems a little old and dusty - there were brown stains around the power sockets, found some old cotton swab and finger/toenail on the carpet beside the bed Breakfast buffet spread was with limited choices, especially if you prefer more western/intercontinental style.
Very friendly and helpful staff. There was heating function in the bathroom to heat up the space

Lacks maintenance. Bathroom needs better cleaning.

The room was fine, but the look and the lighting had a mildly cheaper look. The light switch for the bathroom was in the hallway. Took me a while to figure out how to flush the (Japanese with Chinese instructions) toilet. Had to climb into a very high bathtub to take a shower. It would be dangerous for elderly folks. Breakfast was all Chinese veggies, which is ok for me, but might leave some anxious for eggs and bacon. Coffee was good.
Location and value. Subway stop across the street. The Keelung river is just two blocks away, great place for a jog. The Raohe night market 2 blocks away. Just one line change from the airport to hotel. Everything in room was clean and worked.

The room is too small for two adults and it's difficult to move around the room. In addition, there is no space to open my medium size suitcase to unpack or pack. The layout of the room is strange as the desk is so close to the bed that I could hardly find space to sit the chair provided. The space between the bed and TV is too narrow. Some of the food such as fruit is hardly available as it's not refilled most of the time.
Though the room is a small for two adults, it's clean. Staff are friendly and helpful. The vegetarian breakfast in general is quite good. The location of the hotel is good as it's close to the MRT.

Large step up to in bath shower.
Great front desk service. Location is ideal almost opposite the train station entrance no.2. Breakfast is Asian and is very good. Lovely large room. Tahoe Night Market is so close.

Loved the location of hotel, rooms were clean, and breakfast was very good. We left for a 9 day bike ride and the hotel kept some of our luggage until we returned for a one night stay.

Toilet bowl near one bedside. Haha. Small longbath can change to standing shower better.
Aerial garden can see t101. Friendly breakfast staff. Helpful reception. Has a weighing scale for luggage weight check at lobby. Next to nice famous seafood restaurant at affordable prices. Family mart. Raohe markets.

Size of rooms are small, some part of the room still have some dust, but generally clean. I can literally hear my next door taking shower at night. Only serve vegetarian breakfast, which was a surprise to me, and best, guest are expected to clear their own cutlery, plates and cups after eating as the service staff don't do it for guest. Definitely not what I would expect from a 4Star hotel.
Is near to the night market and eating place. And the reception staff are friendly.

only 2 unit of washing machine and dryer... I spent 2 hours there to finish my laundry, since is self-help laundry, should have more machines for hotel guests to use
the restaurant only provide vegg, and it stop business after 6pm. Is a bit inconvenience for hotel guests who check in late and need food at night

The bath tub is too high, had trouble climbing in- esp old people. Worried that I've to pay full payment despite deposit and the deposit is still not cancelled on the card.
The cleanliness. Ensure the rooms have ample toiletries. Professional and friendly staff. Near night market.

The hotel needs to provide more staff at breakfast time! While the young lady in charge there was very efficient and pleasant, but having to take care of every part of the dining room…greeting guests, cleaning & clearing tables, replenish foods, stock all dishes and drink machine… that’s too much for just 1 person! Quality can be compromised!!!
The hotel is just across from the subway station! The staff’s quick efficient resolution to 1 issue of our room after our first nite! We were real pleased with the next room they moved us to!! The breakfast was great with plenty of choices of dishes!
