Not much but the shower seemed to have trouble draining water. We would hear the water drip out for a while, even though we made sure that the shower was completely turned off.

The triple room was big. We loved the little sitting area, the screen door that separated the sleeping area from the hallway and bathroom. The staff were extremely helpful and responsive to requests made. The linens smelled fresh. Location was excellent, in Ximen district.

Breakfast didn't have enough vegetable options, and some of the food for breakfast was seasoned a bit weird.

The hotel was very clean, and the main reception area was very comfortable and spacious. It is also situated in a very convenient area for both public and private transportation (we rented a small bus for our group), and the hotel staff are very pleasant and helpful. We also really enjoyed the fact that hotel amenities are provided separately, with toiletries at reception, and towels/teas/water in a bag left outside of the room, instead of having cleaning staff go into our rooms (and clean out tea bags that we haven't used up).

Excellent location close to lovely eating and shopping facilities, and within easy walking distance of metro and Taipei main station. Comfortable, well designed bedroom and bathroom. Free coffee in reception was very welcome.

Location , location & location. Easy access to all areas , metro & railway within 5 minutes. Staffs are wonderful & willing to help especially Nash speaks fluent English provided us very detailed information on directions and questions. Thumbs up . Good housekeeping, very relaxing area on their 6th floor with coffee, tea and free bottle water .

But never visit the massage centre Jinwumen 筋武門as recommended by the hotel. The massage therapists there are horrible. My husband and I experienced their unprofessional treatment which just kept pressing with their fingers only with force without any technique. I got bruises over various parts of my body. Isn’t it crazy! I told the hotel staff about that and suggested to them not to recommend it to customers .

Very clean and the size of a comfort twin room is ok. Breakfast has a wide variety to choose. Very close to Ximen and convenient to various eatery and shops.

We were quite disappointed with the breakfast. Theres almost no change in the buffet breakfast everyday. I don't recommend including the breakfast daily. Food was rather cold, even the egg station were nt hot. Coffee from the coffee machine was not hot too. As it is a Japanese hotel, the food is very Japanese style. If you are not into Jap food, do not consider it because the chinese food option was quite bad.

The location was good, its about 5mins walk from Ximen MRT. The room was a little small but cozy. The rooms and facilities were clean. Staff were very friendly and polite.

High standard hotel. Our room was comfortable , quiet and modern with a great view to the north (from 26th floor). Breakfast buffet was excellent. We liked the self- serve luggage storage room where you could securely lock your luggage.

Strictly no late check-out, not even a minute as the system automatically charges, according to staff. No daily cleaning but there is a good system to replace towels etc. My concern is whether the same bag used to provide the clean towels is also the same bag used by people to return the dirty towels.

It’s abit unfortunate that the hotel doesn’t allowed guest to have perishable stored in their fridge. (By putting myself in their perspective, i could understand why. But I just hoping that they could accept if their storage allows) Other than this, I have nothing else to dislike about.

I like the spacious hotel lobby, it has more seatings as compared to other hotels I have stayed in Taiwan. The hotel is very thoughtful to have a weighing machine for luggages and a small drink bar too! And it provides pyjamas which is a life saviour as my return flight was delayed and I have to stay extra night! Also, the hotel has two lift areas, it helps a lot with the crowd control of guests checking in/out and guests who already checked in but on their way out. They have this self baggage storage whereby you can leave it in one locker. Anytime, at your own convenience you can collect them, it saves time too! I do not have to wait for staff to be available to retrieve my baggages. I really love this service! Most importantly, the room we booked is really spacious enough for us to lay out our luggages!

The room is very clean and they automatically replace the towels every day even though you are not requesting it. We had a very nice view of Taipei from our room, which I love. The location is very ideal as well. We are near the Ximen Station and Ximending Night Market as well. Very helpful and accommodating staffs.

Despite being a new hotel, the carpet is not clean, the bed sheets and towels have stains. No good for such a new hotel. We requested for a make up room on one of the stay and it was not done but they just left the bag of towels in the room, very disappointed.
