Stayed here foe the second time. Everything was great. I think the staff is amazing. They are extremely friendly and helpful. The brekfast was lovely. We loved it every morning.

Not related to the hostel's rating, but l think there are some bad manners of other guests so I was not satisfied with them.

Very clean, helpful staff, complementary breakfast options change daily. Close to the station, there are many shops near the hostel.

I stayed in the female dorm room and I felt that there was a very stale smell. Not sure if it would be possible to ventilate the room to help with this. The air con was also very cold at some points in the night and I would have preferred if the remote was in the dorm room so that we could have made our own adjustments. I think this might be once off but I saw a cockroach in the toilet while showering and I was very taken aback 😅

I really liked the common area where breakfast is served. It was a nice place to hang out and chill. Breakfast was delicious and I really appreciated that the staff were very quick in refilling the items, even if it was close to the end time of breakfast. There were free snacks given which was nice as well.

Good first expression, and excess my expectation. Would love to try different Star Hostels in Taiwan.

Extremely clean. Comfortable bed. One free bath towel. But there are clean bath towel available to use after shower. Friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast every morning. Will stay again if back to Taipei.

The rooms are a bit cramped and there isn’t much space to unpack and pack luggage. Also there are lights in the room that can’t be shut off which is annoying.

Breakfast was varied each day and good, although not as good as going out and getting a good Taiwanese breakfast. The common spaces were comportable and the toilets were great!

The rooms were not really soundproof and we could hear shower and drainage noises from other rooms.

The location is really good! Right beside zhong xiao dun hua mtr and great shopping haven right at the doorstep. We loved the breakfast too! Delicious and refillable! The room service where rubbish is cleared and towels are changed is really very appreciated!

The shower rooms were only 3 for 3 dorms and each dorm has 8 beds, so it’s kinda crowded in the evening time.

It was very clean and comfy, staff were very kind to help and cute too. I loooooove the breakfast, it was one of my fav of the stay, definitely will come back whenever I visit Taipei again.

I have nothing to complain about.

I had a perfect time at this place. Very convenient localization, right next to bus stops and metro station. Good breakfast, a small buffet, but it was enough for me. I had a room with a private bathroom and got everything I needed. The beds were very comfortable, had no problem sleeping. I will come back for sure.

The room could use a slight renovation (painting the walls) but thats all.

We could check in a bit earlier and that was a huge help. The room was clean and the balcony was quite big. The breakfast was amazing though. The staff was top notch. They refilled everything so fast and the food was great. I didnt expect to have such a good breakfast.

Morning receptionist didn't give a clear answer regarding cleaning and towel change. Had to go back to reception in the afternoon to get clean towels.

Very clean, comfortable pillow, had a window open in room for fresh air. Really good breakfast which changed daily. So many extras in bathroom was everything you could think of.

Air con too cold especially when temp is only 12⁰ outside.

The staff were really wonderful. Had a problem with my locker out of hours and duty manager came in by taxi to help me. Friendly, clean, great location.
