Everything should pay, like towel. And quite expensive dor solo traveller but i think its because of their facilities.

Its really clean and location was great. The bfast was so good and the design of every room was excellent. They even have hair straightner! Shockingly the bedcover was really soft and fluffy.

Just my preference, but lockers were in a separate area from the bedroom, making it slightly inconvenient when you want to pack or take things from your bags. However, it reduces disturbance to other roommates when you're packing things which is a plus point too.

The common area of the hostel is cozy and comfortable for chilling out. Rooms and toilets were clean. There is a different breakfast every day of the week. I really enjoyed the vibe of the hostel, would stay here again if I visit Taichung.

It has zero social atmosphere but in saying that would 100% stay there again as a good night sleep and location trump over anything

The Hostel is on the 14th/15th floor so you have a good view over Taichung from the commen area. The staff was really helpfull and friendly. Also the Breakfast was good ans fresh made. The Doorms are really big and the beds are really comfortable. I would definitley come come back.

Every detail about this place was so curated and lovely. The facilities were clean and modern, and the common area was absolutely stunning and filled with comfy chairs and a beautiful view of the city. I was expecting free breakfast to be basic continental breakfast, but a chef cooks crafts your meal live and it felt like a 5-star experience. The location was right in the middle of everything with so much to do. The rooms were dead silent and perfect for sleeping.

A challenge to access to the hostel by the elevator during peak hours especially in holidays as it’s always full for those to car parking floors.

Fabulous view in common area. Excellent location for transport, food and shopping. Staff are very friendly and helpful. A variety of breakfast for each day although it’s simple.

There is a designated space with an extra railing in the storage area just outside the dorm for hanging & drying wet towels etc with a dryer/ dehumidifier placed underneath (again, a great idea!) My only complaint is that some ppl were doing what seemed like their weekly laundry and hanging it on the other 3 railings designated for storage in the room. As a result others weren't able to hang their "bulky" items such as winter jackets/coats because they would just get damp from hanging next to wet clothes. It also made the room feel a little damp.

This is my second time staying here. Again, I had an amazing experience. Stayed in an all female dorm this time. The bed was comfy, the bedsheets/pillows clean and smelling nicely, and a big fluffy duvet to go with that. A thick black out curtain offers a lot of privacy. The room was spotless. The storage area for your belongings just outside the dorm was great. Big lockers & very secure (open with your room card, so no need to carry your own lock). Extra railings available in addition to the lockers for coats, shoes etc. Toilets, showers kept spotless. A lot of little touches like a hair straightener available in the bathroom and small toiletries (ie cotton pads). Breakfast was great and the hostel caters for vegetarians. Their tea/coffee facilities & little kitchen corner are handy. At this time of the year, they even had hot chocolate available! The common spaces are kept clean. Many options, whether you want to hang out with others or do a little work. Check in and out very smooth. Staff were lovely. Be prepared to wait a little for the lift as it is shared with everyone else in the building. And I suppose it was extra busy given that it was Christmas... But it's no big deal really! Definitely will stay again.... and again...

This is unrelated to the hostel itself. The transportation system in Taichung, particularly the buses, is not the most reliable. While the hostel provided accurate instructions, it failed to mention the bus timings or their availability. Perhaps in the future, they could recommend guests to download the Taiwan bus app – Bus+. While I understand that checking bus availability is not within their purview, I had to wait for bus 365 for nearly an hour only to discover that it was out of service.

It's just perfect for a solo traveller. Everything was seamless and stress free. I've stayed in a 8-bed dorm and it was spacious for a hostel. The beds and lockers were positioned separately, so there's no need to worry about disturbing others when packing. The place is very well designed, you can see the considerations with the little details made to the space.

It’s in a really cool locals neighborhood but for travelers on foot/using public transportation , it’s a little far from the train station.

Very thoughtful touches that showed the designers or owners have stayed in hostels, like the doors opening quietly and keeping the lockers/bathrooms away from the beds to make it quieter in the dorm rooms. Breakfast is excellent, it’s obviously a gorgeous space, and the staff is so nice. Thanks Derek!

Bathrooms and toilets are clean and considerate, such as they provide free-to-change clean bath mats and cleansing alcohol. Each person could use one individual luggage locker, which is available for 28” suitcase. ALSO, luggage lockers are outside the bedroom! So you won’t be waken up while other residents are packing.
