The venue is strategically located near to all the museums and Confucius temple! And the toilet was air conditioned too with all the necessary toiletries. The staff were very nice and helpful too!

This hostel was absolutely amazing: decor, service, beds, cleanliness, noise-level. Everything was just perfect! Since the weather was extremely hot on one of the days, I spent an afternoon in the common area leisurely reading the many books available. The common areas are so conducive to quiet reading, writing and reflecting. There's also free coffee and tea. One book in particular caught my attention: the novel "Castle" by Kafka. I really wanted to purchase it and asked the owner how much it costs. To my surprise, she said she will gift it to me for free! That made my day. Moreover, there is also an awesome patio and kitchen for hanging out with friends! Lastly, I stayed in the female dorm building, which was super nice. Granted when I was there, there weren't many other travelers, so it was relatively quiet. I loved my little pod and thought I had a good amount of privacy.

Everything was perfect, really confortable and quiet ! It feels like I was in my own room alone. The bed space is not small at all. The bathroom is really clean and have many facilities. I really recommend it! The location is also really good!

The bookcases give the hostel a very special atmosphere and it’s really cosy. It’s located well for walking to all the sights. I was worried, that it might be too loud with so many beds in the female dormitory, but was pleasantly surprised by how quiet it was. The bed-bunks felt very private with the curtain drawn. The shower and bathroom facilities are on a different floor than the beds and were so you don’t hear people having showers and it’s really clean with a lot of good products offered for free. Of the five places I stayed in in Taiwan so far it’s been the best one

Literally 10/10

This is by far THE BEST hostel I have ever been at. Everything is literally perfect and it has a high end feel to it. Not only is the design so cool (feeling like a stepped into a Harry Potter house), it is extremely spacious, clean and comfortable. The personnel went beyond to make my stay comfortable, one saw that I struggled to put away my large backpack so she immediately moved me to a bed where I had space to put my backpack away safely. Moreover the amenities are beyond anything. The bathrooms are not only clean but there is high end shampoo, conditioner, bodywash, body lotion and even skincare products. The lounge areas are huge, modern, clean and have everything you need as well as snacks and drinks. The people working there are so friendly and helpful. The rules are good and clear. Overall this was mesmerising. This hostel should have a 10/10. I will come back for sure cause I slept so good and the location was perfect on top of that. Thank you.

-location is perfect, there’s shuttle bus from Tainan HSR station to the hostel (Confucius Temple) -there’s coffee machine and biscuit in common area -I stayed 1 night in female dormitory room, the bedding, shower and toilet are very clean. There are facial and body care products for use, also hair dryer. -interior deco is unique but also cozy, surrounded by plenty of books

This has to be one of the quirkiest and best run hostels in the world! A former book shop, sleep amongst the book shelves. So many lovely toiletries to help yourself and hot drinks too. Marvin and his 2 female colleagues go out of their way to help you with information on the city and where to find your next tasty meal.Plenty of different areas to hang out from spacious kitchen to balcony and library.

When I checked out early in the morning, I sat at the counter to chat with my friend. The three seats in front of the counter were already occupied. I sat on the counter seat until the employee came to work at 10 o'clock. She saw me and asked me why you were sitting there. I was shocked. When I checked in yesterday, the staff explained that they wanted us to check in in a casual manner. I felt guilty as if I had infringed on their counter. But when I actually sat in front of the counter, the staff behaved in a casual manner yesterday. I can sit wherever I want. I was really shocked when I suddenly asked why I was sitting there.

It’s a unique B&B. It’s amazing at first glance. The location is quite good.

This place is perfect! Not only because of all the books, but it's also very clean with friendly staff and some hygienic products, free tea and crackers, and a water dispenser. The bed spaces are really big for a dorm (and offer great privacy) and very stable, so you don't get disturbed by other people moving around. Each bed has a big locker for luggage. The location is perfect too, 15 walking minutes from the main station and right around all corners, you can find great places to eat. I would definitely book it again.

1. The room is a bit chilly both during the day and at night, so you have to put on your coat after getting out of bed, which may not be convenient. 2. You have to pass many other people’s bunkers to reach the social area, so I avoided going there being afraid of bothering other people.

1.The shared shower plus toilet in the female only area is always clean and smells fresh. Some of the toilet seats are even equipped with washlet function, which is amazing. The shampoo and body soap provided also smell good. They even provide some basic skin care product and also good quality. 2.The bed and blanket are comfortable, and the books provided in the room are interesting. Though most walls are made of wood, I don’t hear much noise and always sleep well. 3. The staff are all very kind, informative and helpful.

the toilet facilities is good, provide toner, facial wash bath soap conditional, make up removal, cotton butt, cotton wool and it is super clean. the common areas for eating upstairs is nice n comfortable it has all you needa. friendly staff. ur side where we sleep n shower only allow female feel so safe.
