Great location. Room was downstairs, it was really big which is nice, did seem to not have a super fresh smell but couldn’t figure out what it was. Shower was separate to toilet which was nice but both were a little small and sink was exposed to the room. Perfect for one night! Staff were really nice and they showed me to my room

The beds had no curtains, so low privacy at times. The windows also had no curtains, so the sunlight was strong early in the morning. Hard to sleep in, had to cover my eyes with a jacket. But otherwise great stay!

Could've given an actual towel and not just a small piece of cloth. Walls are a little thin so I can hear people walking around. Location is slightly further away from MaIn Station.

Excellent location within walking distance about 10 minutes to Taipei Main Station. Located at the fringe of Ximending. Excellent and rare western spring mattress bed which is very comfortable.

Not used to toilet paper unable to flush down the WC but to dump in the waste bin in toilet, however this seems to be the common practise in Taiwan as a whole, they do provide some with hand bidet which is great. The hot water is kinda unstable and need to adjust often to maintain at a comfortable temperature.

Conveniently located just opposite the busy Ximending district, and walking distance to Taipei Underground shopping district, with public transport such as bus station and MRT within walking distant. The room is spacious and basic amenities provided in public area. Highly recommended for budget travelers, shop goers, and food hunters.

The WiFi was slow and unstable inside of the room especially on the second floor and the common sitting area with internet was small and not very comfortable.

The door to the room is so thin you can hear everything. People were very loud through the night, which I can’t blame the property for. However, I was unable to have a one good night stay, there were bed bugs in the bed, I was bitten all over.

The layout of the hostel is a joke. The most beautiful pictures are from the reception in another building. The decoration is kept to a minimum at the actual place of stay. Bathrooms are next to the community area including "kitchen". Without a door there is the staircase leading to the showers and an open sink. No door separates this area from the actual rooms, meaning you hear every person taking a shower, brushing teeth, using microwave, opening a door etc. Due to this atmosphere, you don't really want to socialize with other people in there. Not using a key, but a password to enter your room is a nice idea to prevent people from losing keys, however the panels are very loud. "The Kitchen" contains a microwave and provides you warm or even hot water, but you can't really cook there. The faucets are super short, so a lot of water is wasted and ends up everywhere. Towels that are provided are super short. The receptionist emphasized, that guests are not supposed to contact them anymore. Although it seems that a cleaning person came there regularly, the material of the floor is in a bad shaped and always looked dirty. Luckiliy I saw insects only in the staircase area but not inside my room. And luckily only a few.

The location is at the edge of a popular district, however, the noise from it isn't as much as one might expect. The bed was soft and probably the best thing about my stay there. Uncomplicated check-out. For people on a tight budget who don't mind all the noise within the house and rather use a room a locker, may still be happy with it.

The only downside was the missing laundry equipment due to the place being refreshed while I was there. I have been offered a coin laundry shop as an alternative. Overall very satisfied with this venue
