It’s in Ximending. Close to the night market. Close to mrt station and convenience stores. You can easily find the hotel if you follow the instructions.

Only one side of the bed had a bedside table with charging points, whose power supply is strangely turned off when you turn off the main overhead lights in the room.

The location was perfect for getting around Taipei by foot, bus, or MRT and also the rest of Taiwan, including the airport, by train. It is also right next to Ximending, so you are right in the centre of historic Taipei, shopping and street food. The hotel room was spacious and breakfast was excellent. The rate was reasonable for Taipei. Each floor had an ice and drinking water machine to fill our water bottles.

There is no shelf for you to place shampoo and bath wash. I put them on the floor. Breakfast spread very ordinary.

The breakfast was Chinese dishes with a few Western options. The breakfast room and the hallways were very cold. The bed and pillow were a little hard for my liking.

The room was large and basic with all the necessities. The shower curtain was dirty and upon our request it was changed immediately. The front desk staff was very friendly and most helpful and despite language barriers sometimes, we were able to communicate. We were able to get a room, for a fee, for the last day as our plane was leaving at midnight. It was very much appreciated.

Charged for Full extra Day even though checked-in just a few hrs before at 9 am rather than their standard time 2-3 pm... and also they couldn't provide any Late Check-out, not even for 1-2 hrs and I was forced to check-out at 12 pm else they would have charged extra NTD 200 on hourly basis.. this is really something very not accomodating behaviour for the hospitality industry... When they have already charged for the full extra day at time of early check, they could have easily provided a couple of hrs of late check-out at the least.

The Location near the Taipei Main Station, Nice Comfortable Hotel for a business traveller, Basic, but good size room with Bathtub.

The breakfast choice is much less than the other hotels we stayed in this trip but overall still be sufficient if guests love local food.

The hotel is located in one of the busiest parts of Taipei City - Ximen. There are so many restaurants and shops nearby. The MRT station is just within 5 minutes walk with an underground walkway entrance just 1 minute from the hotel. We could also find some local small restaurants and fruit stalls nearby.

The shower room water pressure sound was damn loud when in use. Even the next room sound could spread to your room when guest shower. Room sound proof is poor.

Breakfast was not much variety and closing time at 10am is much early. The location was still fair distance to walk to Xi Men Ding district.

Checking in process took forever. The receptionist in the afternoon shift is not helpful, confusing, and kind of rude. We understand that there is a communication barrier, and she can’t understand English at all. However, she shouldn’t sigh deeply at us everytime. Even you have been waiting in the line, she still served Chinese speaking guests first and allowed them to cut the line in front of English speaking guests. To me, her manner is rude and unacceptable. I need to take a deep breath every time before talking to her. Really pissed. The breakfast choices are limited and taste bland but staffs at the breakfast area are nice and generous. Also the parking is NOT FREE. They are trying to charge us, so try getting their WRITTEN confirmation or parking card before you park a car. Our trip in Taiwan was 10 days but we are glad we stayed here only one night before driving to Taroko national park.

Location is superb (proximity distance to Taipei main station and a night market). Also, it is easy to access to many places by bus and by metro. Our room is spacious and clean. Bed is quite comfy.
