Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

Room is clean, location is great and staff is very helpful. My child had an online class that would finish at 1pm on the day we were checking out. When I asked if there is any area in lobby for my son to resume his class after checking out12pm, the front desk gentleman kindly offered us one hour extra time to check out.

Hong KongNo power outlets in the waiting area so if you need to wait after checking out or even checking in, you have no access to charge your phones/tablets/labtop.
Location is good, 2 blocks from Zhongxiao Fuxing MRT station and you can go pretty much anywhere from there. The kids love the buffet breakfast.

NetherlandsThe room is small and old. No outside window. The shower cabin is very small and leaking which make the bathroom floor wet. Humidity in the room, no towel will dry when hanging out. Dirty carpet on the floor.
The swimming pool was good enough beds and shade. Fantastic breakfast with plenty of options for everyone.

United StatesWe had a large suite, so there was a lot of space. However, everything is very outdated. The hotel clearly needs a full renovation. I don’t think this can really qualify as a 5 star given the age of the rooms. I really did not like all the tiny plastic bottles of shampoos, shower gels etc. It is highly unsustainable, and again, very outdated compared to the other hotels we were staying at in Taipei which all had outfitted their toiletry offering to avoid throwaway containers.
The gym was the best feature of the hotel: large and well equipped. However, it is not open until 6:30 am which is a little late if you have an early start to the day. The breakfast has a lot of variety to suit all tastes Eastern and Western. Definitely one of the best hotel breakfast buffets I’ve had recently.

GermanyWhen we came, there was an unpleasant smell in the room and some device plugged, maybe to counteract that. After about a day the smell had disappeared and one day later the device was removed. Still I think, the hotel should do such operations without guests in the room.
The hotel has free parking, which I find very remarkable in the center of a metropolitan area. The room had a view onto the lobby and breakfast area. In retrospect, I find that even better than a view outside where there is not so much to see.

United StatesStaff will enter your room when you have the do not disturb sign turned on. This was also after leaving a note saying they did not come in and calling to make sure we didn’t need anything. (Which we didn’t answer because we didn’t get to the phone in time.) Also, poor communication during checkout causing my family to spend extra money on top of our stay. Instead of asking what currency my card is, they should have asked if it was an international card so I could avoid an 8% surcharge.
The room was comfortable. My children enjoyed the breakfast buffet and the pool.
